"Dr. Brian S. Taylor is a board-certified psychiatrist who graduated from Stanford University School of Medicine and completed his general surgery internship at the University of California, San Francisco. He specializes in providing psychiatric care to adults and adolescents aged 15 and older. Dr. Taylor also provides care for geriatric, forensic, addiction, crisis residential, and long-term rehabilitation populations. He conducts comprehensive psychiatric evaluations that include psychosocial assessments, discusses clinical impressions with patients, provides education about mental health syndromes, and makes treatment recommendations based on current evidence-based practice guidelines. He also provides office-based opioid treatment (Suboxone) for individuals requiring medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder. Dr. Taylor offers Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) as treatment options for individuals with treatment-resistant depression.

He serves as the Medical Director of Lakehouse Recovery Center in Westlake Village, where he provides leadership for programs supporting patients enrolled in outpatient partial-hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment. Dr. Taylor has also contributed his expertise as a member of the Ventura County Medical Center medical staff and as a faculty member for the Community Memorial Health System’s Psychiatry Residency Program."
