I have been struggling with progressive muscle weakness and difficulties breathing for several months. My primary said 'it is the season for that. It has been going around.' Dr Wagner took time to get an extensive history and physical and diagnosed me with ALS and referred me to Columbia Medical Center for further treatment.

Dr. Wagner was spot on with his diagnosis and treatment. Best I have ever worked with.

Most important quality in a doctor is TRUST. Ive been in doctor ortega's care for several years now and his care is phenominal. He addresses all of my concerns on every appointment and explains things in terms I can as a patient understand. Drop his name with any of your other doctors and they will say nothing but with confidence that you are in excellent care. If you have trouble reaching him, be patient. He does not have a secretary but they are a pain to deal with anyways. he will always get back to you.it would be a shame to turn down treatment with someone of this status in the medical field.

I have been seeing Dr. Ortega for quite a few years. He really knows his stuff and is a great doctor. He has helped me immensely. I like his manor as well. I highly recommend him.
