“Dr. Richard Connell earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of North Texas and completed his internship at Danbury Hospital in Connecticut. Before entering independent practice, he served as Chief Psychologist at San Saba State School, working with youthful offenders. His independent practice has focused on giving diagnostic evaluations of children and adults for a variety of purposes, including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Learning Disabilities (LD), and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Dr. Connell feels strongly that the most effective intervention begins with a comprehensive evaluation that identifies strengths as well as areas for potential improvement. He is also the father of two and enjoys travel and woodworking. He is very friendly and makes the environment more comfortable for the patients.”
