“Boxwood Hall State Historic Site is a historic house museum that was built about 1750 and is a National Historic Landmark for its association with Elias Boudinot, who lived here from 1772 to 1795. Boxwood Hall State Historic Site was also home to Samuel and Elizabeth Woodruff, Hannah Boudinot, Susan Dayton, and their staff, both free and enslaved.
