2026 Update: Sahuaro Ranch Park is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is recognized as one of the Valley’s oldest surviving ranch sites. It has free-roaming peacocks have become one of the park’s most recognizable features and are strongly associated with the area. Local visitors often refer to it as “Peacock Park.” The park preserves original ranch-era structures such as the Adobe House, Guest House, blacksmith shop, horse barn, and packing house, helping visitors experience early settlement history firsthand. Community feedback and online discussions show that the park is deeply valued by Glendale residents for family outings, picnics, photography, and nostalgic memories."
