EAST ROCK PARK REVIEWS
Super awesome park with great hikes! I took advantage of the unseasonably warm fall days to take my pup up for a hike. I did the ‘4 peaks’ hike and it didn’t disappoint! Great views at all the peaks and it was more challenging than expected!! I would absolutely come back to hike this park again!
We have hiked here multiple times. It’s a beautiful hike in every season. July 4th fireworks are also awesome- ofcourse need to enjoy it from distance.
Nice playground, there is a big sand area. Lots of trails to walk. Street parking is pretty close to the playground.

Lighthouse Point Park is a beautiful beachfront park. In 1924 New Haven bought Lighthouse Point Park from the East Shore Amusement firm. The park attracts thousands to the public beach to enjoy the beauty of Long Island Sound. Dedicated anglers take advantage of the fishing pier and a public boat launch that is available for leisure craft. There are public tables shaded by trees and pavilions. Kids can have fun on the playground and swings. The park is one of the most popular places for bird watching along the East Coast. Each fall and 2008 spring, lots of songbirds and birds of prey are seen in the migratory oasis along Morris Creek. The park rangers and various ornithological organizations conduct research and provide bird migration schemes for visitors.

LIGHTHOUSE POINT PARK REVIEWS
Truly amazing experience of Lighthouse Point Park. Usually during the summer visiting this park is $10 per car but I visited in late October, entry was totally free. Sunset from this lighthouse park is amazing. You can easily spend two to three hours walking on the beach, taking pictures and lighthouse provides good photo opportunities. Please be careful when walking on the Jetty, rocks were slippery. Some boulders were granite which may have transported from somewhere else. There is another functional lighthouse smaller in size is visible from this park but may not be open to public.
Really gorgeous park with amazing views. Highly recommend going down to the beach area and walking around the entire park. The rocks on the beach have very interesting markings. Great visit!
The park and beach are right next to each other so you can eat at one of the covered pavilions and then head to the beach. The day we were there most all the covered areas were taken. A very popular park.

EDGEWOOD PARK REVIEWS
Beautiful park, highly recommend. Farmer's market, skatepark, playground... and I need to keep exploring so I'm sure I'm missing other things. One afternoon I was walking around and saw some dancers practicing. This seems like a vibrant and eclectic community center, a park that embodies everything wonderful about Connecticut. I'm excited to go back asap! :)
My son and I enjoyed a stroll through the park, noticing all the different kinds of graffiti, some quite artistic. Nature is always healing and folks we met wre friendly.
Lovely park. Trails in the forest to walk, or paved roads to bike on. Beautiful duck pond with some very bold fowl folk.
