I love riverfront park! Might be biased due to all the happy childhood memories connected to it....but I just love it. Everything is fun and beautiful. The bridges are my favorite. The carrousel is historic. We come here most often for the Saturday morning races/fun runs that are often held here. Love it.

Great place to visit. Lots of places to walk around and things to do and see. While we were there in the winter I saw kids sledding and ice skating, people walking their dogs, joggers, and families walking there gardens. They have an expansive indoor arboretum that is currently full of Christmas lights and decor. A real must see in the summer when all the flowers are in full bloom.

20 Acres Park

This gorgeous park is nestled in the lovely Brownes Addition neighborhood. There are basketball courts, playground and splash pad. There's also a gazebo in the heart of the park...perfect for those magical moments we see in the movies. The splash pad usually runs from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day. It's the perfect hot day activity--whether you're 2 or 82. Bring a picnic and enjoy the shade of tall pine trees and the fresh cut, well maintained lawn.
