Very well maintained and easily accessible. Great views of the front range and Colorado Springs! Nice and open and right next to some other great hiking areas like Red Rock Canyon Open Space as well as right by old stage and gold camp roads. Great place to take the pets and get some sun and easy enough not to be beat by the end of the day or visit. I could see myself putting up a hammock or laying down a blanket for a picnic and a book for some light reading in the nice mountain air and warm sun. Definitely recommend for anyone in the Colorado Springs area or just visiting. Great job to the crew that maintains this, you guys are awesome! Hats off to Colorado Springs for bolstering the good old out doors and upholding top of the notch standards and practices so that many generations to come can enjoy our amazing city and immense beauty mother nature provides!
My family and I come here often because the playground is toddler and big kid friendly and there are always other kids to play with. We love the fields for recreation and our toddler does Soccer Buddies here which is so enjoyable. The grass is always more green at Bear Creek than the rest of the surrounding parks!
Great place for a hike with the family. Very little kid and stroller friendly. The trees down by the creek turn the most beautiful colors in the fall. Nice wide trail and gorgeous views of the mountains.
