Whenever I'm down south, I make it a point to stop here for a peaceful walk—it's easily one of my favorite activities, especially when the weather is nice. Grabbing a coffee and strolling through this place is the perfect way to enjoy the day. Highly recommend for a serene and enjoyable experience!
Beautiful lake to walk or run around. Love that the whole loop is encircled by both a paved and gravel path which makes it nicer for running. Easy to also step off trail and grab a bite to eat in certain areas. Lots of people out walking and enjoying this special place. Restrooms along the way.
Nice lake for a swim. There is a kids section as well that is relatively lower depth. There are dive boards which is pretty nice. Dog friendly park. There is a trail alongside the lake that you can take to just go for a walk. The sunset would be on the opposite side of the parking lot but during golden hour the lake has a nice view.
