“Golden Gardens Park offers spectacular views over Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. This park features two wetlands and a short loop trail, and the northern beach has been restored. The total length of the trail is 1.2 miles, which is generally considered an easy route. The trail has a total elevation gain of 167 feet and follows a loop-type route. It takes about 31 minutes to complete the entire trail. The park also provides walks along a rugged coastline, hikes through the forest, opportunities for sunbathing on sandy beaches, pier fishing, and a boat launch with 300 feet of park shoreline at the south end. Golden Gardens Park also contains an off-leash area for dogs in the park's upper northern portion. The park features various facilities like public restrooms, picnic tables, and a wheelchair-accessible parking lot for added convenience.”
