“Golden Gardens Park provides spectacular views over Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. This park features two wetlands and a short loop trail, and the northern beach has been restored. The total length of the trail is 1.2 miles, generally considered an easy route. The trail has a total elevation gain of 167 feet and follows a loop-type route. The time taken to complete the entire trail is about 31 minutes. The park offers walks along a rugged coastline, hikes through the forest, sunbathing on sandy beaches, pier fishing, and a boat launch with 300 feet of park shoreline at the south end. Golden Gardens Park also contains an off-leash area for dogs in the park's upper northern portion. The area includes a large open space for play with wood chips. Parking and restroom facilities are available.”
