"Golden Gardens Park offers spectacular views over Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. This park features two wetlands and a short loop trail, and the northern beach has been restored. The total length of the trail is 1.2 miles, which is generally considered an easy route. The trail has a total elevation gain of 167 feet and follows a loop-type route. It takes about 31 minutes to complete the entire trail. The park also provides walks along a rugged coastline, hikes through the forest, opportunities for sunbathing on sandy beaches, pier fishing, and a boat launch with 300 feet of park shoreline at the south end. Golden Gardens Park also contains an off-leash area for dogs in the park's upper northern portion. The park features various facilities like public restrooms, picnic tables, and a wheelchair-accessible parking lot for added convenience.

2026 Update: Golden Gardens Park offers outdoor recreation with hiking trails and views of Puget Sound and nearby mountains. The northern section of the park includes an off-leash dog area that is commonly used for pets. This area features open space with wood chip ground cover and scattered trees. Seating areas such as tables, benches, and a small covered shelter are available for rest and weather protection. Entrance fee is free for all age Groups."

"Lincoln Park is a 135-acre nature destination that features 4.6 kilometers of walking trails and 3.9 kilometers of bike paths, along with five picnic shelters, various playfields, and an enclosed saltwater pool. The total length of the walking trail is 5.0 miles, which is generally considered an easy route. This is a loop-type trail that has an elevation gain of 85 feet. The park ensures a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere with many picnic benches in the wooded area and by the beach. Lincoln Park also includes a treehouse, a cable run, new play equipment, and information on migratory birds. This ideal destination also has beaches, trees, playgrounds, and tables. The park also features spacious parking and restrooms for the convenience of visitors. The park also allows dogs in leash areas.

2026 Update: Lincoln Park is a multi-use outdoor space located on a bluff along Puget Sound, just north of the Fauntleroy Ferry Terminal. It features a network of hiking trails, including switchbacks on the northern side and gentler paths to the south, connecting about a mile of seawall and rocky beach areas with grassy forests and meadow landscapes. The park includes play and picnic areas, along with recreational features such as a treehouse-style play structure, a cable ride, a plaza, and educational displays about migratory birds. Accessible play elements are also available, including a group saucer swing, an accessible cable ride, a sand table, and a quiet sensory-friendly area."
