"Rainier Beach Community Center offers a comprehensive range of recreation programs catering to participants from toddlers to seniors. The community center and pool underwent remodelling in 2013 and have been certified as LEED Gold for their sustainable environmental design. The modern 46,500-square-foot building boasts a single-story layout and abundant natural lighting provided by numerous windows. The outdoor area includes metal benches, wooden seats, permanent chessboards on select tables, and a children's play area. The Community groups use the public plaza on the south side of the building to host events throughout the year.

2026 Update: The center provides a complete slate of recreation programs for participants from toddler age to seniors. They feature a lazy river, indoor basketball courts, and a playground. They provide free and low-cost recreation programs open to the public, drop-in community gathering spaces."

"Yesler Community Center has an open space in the lobby to showcase photography created by the center's youth. As an integral part of the Yesler Terrace Master Planned Community, the Yesler Neighborhood Park project has developed a 1.7-acre neighborhood park. Yesler Community Center offers two multipurpose rooms, a commercial-grade kitchen, an arts and crafts room, and a gym with a regulation-size basketball court. These rooms vary in size, providing various spaces to accommodate multiple programs and activities, catering to the community's needs and preferences. They offer Licensed Childcare for children ages 5-12 after school and during school breaks.

2026 Update: The center also draws participants from the First Hill neighborhood to the north, which includes Harborview Hospital, and downtown Seattle, located west and down the hill from the center."
