Their team, led by architect Daniel Levy and operations director Blake Ramsey, provided exceptional support from concept through zoning. First, they developed conceptual building perspectives that effectively captured the character of the proposed development — including street views and key architectural features — which served as compelling marketing material for potential developers. In the second phase, DKLevy successfully handled a zoning change, guiding the property from General Industrial to a zoning classification that allowed residential townhomes. They worked directly with the Knoxville-Knox County Planning Commission and the Knoxville City Council to secure approval. Their professionalism, responsiveness, and knowledge of both design and local regulatory processes were outstanding. We worked with DK Levy on a renovation at one of our senior living communities in the Atlanta market. It was honestly one of the most seamless processes and we received our permit from both the State and AHJ within 3 weeks which is a record for my organization.
