I knew immediately that we were going to get quality photos, but what I wasn't expecting was the quality people behind JoPhoto. Joe and Kathleen are attentive, relaxed, and willing to go the extra mile. I think it's because they're so well-versed in so many venues around the eastern TN area. They showed up at the venue on time, kept us on our timeline, and still made sure we got all our of shots. It downpoured on our wedding, and Joe and Kathleen weathered it all with us: helping shift our timeline in real time, standing out in the pouring rain capturing photos for us, and just being a wonderful support system throughout. Simply put, they're the best around.

When I was originally researching photographers in the Smoky Mountains area, I knew that we wanted fun, adventurous photos. I wanted something that would better capture us as the adventurers we are. When I found JoPhoto, that was all the searching I needed. This was the best wedding decision we made. Kathleen & Joe were a true pleasure to work with and made taking photos fun and stress free. And when we received the photos, they STILL exceeded our expectations. We were blown away. We pulled over while driving to look at them and it felt like Christmas morning. These photos are some of our most prized possessions.

Absolutely loved working with Joe and Kathleen! Communications leading up to the wedding were super easy and Kathleen worked with our wedding coordinator to make sure our day of schedule worked out perfectly to capture all of our photos before the ceremony. It made for a seamless day. And their work behind the camera is even better. They capture so much raw emotion and beautiful moments that as the bride you might miss during the event. They are an amazing team. HIGHLY recommend and would use them over and over again.

If you’re on the fence, just go with Erin! It has become a new tradition for us to do our family photos with her. We did our first session with Erin (our wedding photos) at Townsend Wye in 2021. We still have them mounted in our living room. Last week we went back to the Smokies and did Cades Cove! Erin has an eye for artistry and beauty. She captures every incredible element of photography and knows how to deliver authentic moments on camera. On top of just gorgeous photography and memories, Erin is kind, fun and easy to talk to.
