HARPOON LARRYS REVIEWS

Busy on an Easter, but very professional staff handling these crowds - NO PROBLEM! Food is higher levels of tasty. Especially enjoyed a cheesy seafood pizza, shrimp n grits with sausage, crab dip, large portions of fresh grilled seafood. I was sharing, no complaints from anyone.

Hadn't been here in awhile but never disappoints. Server Travis was very attentive and helpful. Food was beautifully presented and delicious. We had the "Killer Combo" and Maui Tacos. They also carry local brewery beer as well as national favorites. Highly recommend.

Our family stopped in on our way to the Williamsburg outlets to go shopping and we were not disappointed at all. First off. They had an amazing selection from the menu for the seafood lover. They also had a very good kids menu and I really like the options for appetizers.

CRAB SHACK ON THE JAMES REVIEWS

Absolutely phenomenal! Nothing changed restaurant about this place at all and it shows in the cooking. We had calamari which was awesome! Broiled seafood platter, crab legs, grilled chicken and a crab cake sandwich. Absolutely nothing to complain about and as good as everything was I still think about the coleslaw. I've never had coleslaw cut the way they cut it it honestly looked like a bowl full of I guess angel hair pasta with an amazing sauce. Can't wait to go back cannot recommend strongly enough this place was perfect.

I try to come here every time I visit the East Coast from Illinois. The food here is top notch, the service is excellent, and I love sitting out on the covered porch. This trip we even saw a pod of dolphins near the restaurant. I'd highly recommend, but be prepared for the expense.

I got crab legs...my husband got shrimp cocktail and oyster dinner. Food was amazing, the crab was so sweet that I did not need butter. Trish our waitress was super. They gave us time to have conversation without rushing us. The place is extremely clean and I loved the decor.

Very quaint seafood restaurant. Great for a special occasion. Was able to accommodate a party of 10 although their usual size is 2-4. Our server was very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent. Everyone was very satisfied with their meal. There was a variety of mixed drinks available of which those that drank in our party were very satisfied with.

Service is always amazing, and the kitchen just rocks. This is our go to spot for special occasions. The tuna tartar with crisps is always a favorite. Diced tuna with crispy accents, seaweed salad, and a siracha ice cream. Yes! These guys also know scallop risotto too. They'll add jumbo lump in a whisper. Just go.

Did the 7-course tasting menu and it was worth every penny and more - each course was meticulously assembled and paired with wine. Service was also excellent. Perfect date night.
