Javita Avery was such an amazing server… she made our experience wonderful! Let’s start with those fluffy homemade biscuits, I am very sure they are best I’ve ever had. Crab Soup was super flavorful. Surprisingly I enjoyed the fried green tomatoes the most of the appetizers we got. Apparently it’s part of the original establishment traditional menu items.

My wife and kids went to lunch here while walking down by the river. It was a nice quite location. The service was great it served was on top of everything. The pancakes are HUGE the crab cake Benedict was very delicious and the brunch Burger the egg is very sunny side up, might want to tell them over medium it was a tad too runny. But everything was good portions were great.

A must try if in Savannah! Great food all around, friendly service, and a peaceful atmosphere. We had the spicy shrimp for an app, then the fried chicken plate and chicken & waffles for entrees. All were absolutely delicious. Reservations are recommend. Will definitely eat here again when back in the area.

SAVANNAH SEAFOOD SHACK REVIEWS

Savannah Seafood Shack is an amazing gem! The atmosphere is charming and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal. I highly recommend the fried calamari as an appetizer and the fried shrimp combo for the main course – they were both outstanding! The service was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Don’t miss out on the key lime pie for dessert; it’s a must-try! Overall, a fantastic spot for fresh seafood. I can't wait to go back!

I don’t usually write reviews while I’m still sitting at the table, but this meal deserved it. The seafood boil was absolutely incredible. The seasoning had so much flavor, the fresh lemon just made it even better, and the butter for the crab legs? Ridiculously good. Everything hit. The vibe was super chill, the music was great, and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. I’d honestly come back to Savannah just to eat here again. So glad I found this place.

Loved our seafood basket. Everything tasted fresh. The corn and hush puppy sides were also delicious. Only feedback is, they should add wine to their drink offerings. They have canned beer and cider, but seafood also goes well with cava, rose, white wine.

River house did not disappoint! Tara was very nice and accommodating. The atmosphere was relaxing with great music. The food was outstanding! We had the blue crab dip, fried green tomatoes, the lobster and shrimp roll, and the blackened Mahi. Can’t recommend River House enough.

Amazing seafood! The Menu has a good variety of options, including special cocktails. I recommend the blue crap dip and the blackened flounder. We couldn’t have been happier with this meal. Our server was attentive & welcoming as well.

Alan and Scott were great bartenders/servers. They were nice to chat with, gave great recommendations for food, and the drinks were good. Plus, the food was delicious. I would definitely go back.
