I made a huge mistake in letting my spa gift card expire. When I noticed apparently ownership had changed in the meantime. They worked with me and still let me redeem it. My massage and facial were fabulous. It was an amazing experience from my frantic phone call asking if they would still allow me to redeem it to getting the services done. Essentials took very good care of me, I would recommend over and over again! Thank you Sylvia for your help to redeem and schedule and thank you to Jennifer and Anna for a relaxing day!!

I have to praise ERIN for salvaging my hair this past week!! I went to Melissa Valero at Contere Salon and she completely botched my balayage! Thankfully I was able to get in with ERIN a couple of days later and she did an AMAZING job working with what she had! I walked in and was immediately serviced with a glass of red wine (I had a glass of champagne later as well ) ERIN was very patient and took her time thoroughly considering how she could best help me and left me feeling beautiful again. She is definitely my person from here out!! Thank you ERIN!! See you in a few weeks!!

This was my first time visiting Essential spa, even though it’s very close to my place. Very clean and nice ambience. The staff is friendly. But my all time favourite is Jeanette. It’s the second time I’m getting my hair done by her & I absolutely love it, the color is not what I wanted but I still like it how it turned out.

PANAMA SPA MASSAGE REVIEWS

Best deep tissue massage I’ve had in a long time. The combination massages was exactly what I needed. The therapist Lisa worked out all my knots And tension spots. Feeling brand new after this massage! I’ll definitely be back and the price was not bad!

Apple and sunny were amazing today! I brought my mother and we got the deep tissue and lymphatic massages and both were great! My back injury was able to withstand the deep tissue and I felt 3 year old tension release!

Angela and Louie are amazing! We are super relaxed and ready for this week of work! We would definitely come back.

This is such a peaceful place and a wonderful locally owned business in Downtown Bakersfield. Lucky me! I was able to try out their new Japanese head spa treatment. The entire experience was beyond relaxing. The team at Blissful Retreat were lovely and welcoming from the first moment. I left feeling refreshed and pampered. The acupressure chair hit me just right. The scalp, neck and shoulder massage was akin to an extended version of the very best part of any day spa booking. I also appreciated the follicle exam and noticed drastic changes before and after the treatment. :) I would highly recommend.

My husband made reservations for my birthday for me to get a facial and a Swedish massage. It was my first time doing either and it was an amazing experience. The facial made my face feel rejuvenated and the Swedish massage was so relaxing and calming. I came out of there feeling amazing. Thank you Haley and Elysia for making me feel comfortable and relaxed. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone.

I got a phenomenal massage! 10/10. I dont remember her name because I was gifted a package but the massage therapist was amazing!
