3 Best Steak Houses in Sunnyvale, CA

We went for a celebratory dinner. I didn’t have high expectations since the restaurant’s design didn’t seem particularly appealing in the photos. But when we arrived, everything looked absolutely wonderful in person. The lighting was perfectly dimmed, and the table settings were immaculate. The staff was highly professional, making the experience even more enjoyable. And of course, the food—this was the best dry-aged steak I’ve ever had. Every other dish we tried was just as impressive. I can’t wait to come back.

Alexander's Steakhouse is a total win if you're into high end vibes and seriously good steak. The place blends classic steakhouse style with a cool Asian twist, melting in your mouth wagyu, creative sides, and some next level starters. I was here with the girls to celebrate our birthdays! The service is top notch and the attention to detail really shows. It's definitely a splurge spot, but perfect for date night or when you want to treat yourself. Just come hungry you'll want to try a bit of everything.

Everything was spectacular. The filet, F1 ribeye, truffle mac n cheese, and mushrooms were incredible - particularly the Mac. Delicious drinks (we loved the Drunk Munchkin & Georgia Mule).

We had a wonderful experience at Sundance ! The food was absolutely delicious and served very quickly, which made the evening even more enjoyable. Our waiter was incredibly attentive, caring, and professional — he made sure we had everything we needed and created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The ladies at the reception were not only very beautiful but also extremely professional and kind. They greeted us with genuine warmth and made us feel truly welcome from the very first moment. Thank you for such a lovely experience. We will definitely come back again.

Came in for a solo dinner while I was in town on a Friday night! Hostesses were lovely and attentive, it was busy but they were able to accommodate me as a walk in! I had Ashley G as my server and she was amazing and so kind! Wonderful service. I ordered the sashimi which was fresh and the sides that came were the perfect balance for the dish. I was eyeing the filet mignon rolls as my entree since it was just me but heard someone recommend the garlic mashed potatoes so I added that as a side. Ashley timed it all just right, and they plated the rolls with the mashed potatoes which was so thoughtful! The rolls came with a delicious slaw in a peanut sauce that I’m going to be dreaming about for a while! Highly recommend and plan on keeping Sundance on the top of my list anytime I’m in town! Also, be sure to try the chocolate cake.

I absolutely love the bar area of the Sundance restaurant. My friend and I had lunch in front of the fireplace in the bar. Cash was our great, attentive friendly waiter. The Aperol Spritz drinks were delicious and the salads great too. I can't recommend this place enough. I used to go more often and fell out of the habit, but I will def be back. The place is a classic!.
