Club Paris

Club Paris serves steak and seafood to Alaskans and tourists since the late 1950s. Anchorage's oldest steakhouse is housed in a 1920's building. Before opening the doors as a Parisian club, the building was at various times a funeral parlor, a furniture store and the home of grocers. On the west wall near the main entrance is a photo of the original building from around 1937, before anything was built around it.
