I used to go here all the time with my family and when my friend’s birthday rolled around we decided to take her here. Let me tell you… they did not disappoint! The bao buns were delicious and the chicken dish we got was also so good! The sushi was just as I remembered it and I think they are really well priced for their location and quality of food.

I have nothing but good things to say about the O-Ku Charleston location! We started off with Espresso Martinis, Truffle Edamame, Annie’s Dumplings-just incredible. The Kaarage Chicken and Snow crab roll were delicious as well. Would recommend to anyone looking to get their Japanese-restaurant fix in Charleston.

Really cool atmosphere and vibe. This was our 2nd time there. I recommend the tuna tataki, crispy rice and black magic. The usu-something (pictured) with fresh salmon is a good starter just super small and light… I recommend booking ahead of time on open table too.

LOCALS SUSHI & SPORTS PUB REVIEWS

Came here as a big group while visiting Charleston. A lot of people rave about the Charleston food scene and Locals validated that experience for us. We sat at a nice high top table. Everything we got was truly incredible, from drinks, to apps, to entrees. It says a lot about a place that can truly master both sushi AND pub food. The Japanese mozzarella sticks were actually so unbelievable I can't get over it. And best of all, our server Conor was absolutely delightful. He made the experience even more awesome. Thank you Conor.

Literally one of my favorite places ever!! The vibes are always great, the food hits every time, and the staff is so friendly — but I have to give a special shoutout to Nicole, the manager. She is AMAZING. Seriously, so kind, helpful, and just on top of everything. She made sure our experience was perfect from start to finish. You can tell she genuinely cares and goes above and beyond. Love this spot and love her even more.

Have been coming here for years. Sushi is phenomenal. Can't beat the half price deal when offered. Lots of different unique sushi rolls (and plenty non-sushi options to choose as well). Staff are always so friendly. Comfortable seating. Always leave absolutely stuffed! 100% recommended.

First time at Kings Sushi and it was a good experience. The food was good and cooked to order. The service was exceptional and the staff was very friendly. It's a good value and I will definitely do this one again.

The food is so good and our server was so kind and such a sweetheart. Thank you so much Tyler! ???? He made sure we enjoyed our food, he was polite and efficient. He is a hard worker and I saw him moving g just about the entire time we were there. Also, to the young woman who was handing out the food (pretty lady, maybe about 5'1, claw clip, long black hair) I see you working hard and keeping up with all that food. Props to you too! We will be back very soon.

The rice portion for nigiri is perfect. I also love thickness of fish. The king sushi in west Ashley is absolutely better than Summerville location.
