Ichiban Japanese & Korean Restaurant

We loved all the food here. Great flavor. Generous portions. We usually order delivery and this was our first time dining in. I knew it would be good based on the delivery but the food was phenomenal!! The stew was nice and hot. The complimentary side dishes were very high quality. I can't say enough good things. We ordered the pork and rice cake kimchi stew and this easily can feed 4 people. The scallion pancake was big and crispy. We loved the sushi and sashimi! Will be going back for sure.

The restaurant is located in a good location. We came here for a late lunch at 2pm. Parking was okay. The staff is very friendly. For an order of a big group, we got our food and side dishes pretty quick, which was great. The side dishes were quite good. The bento and sushi boats were good too. However, their California roll and Eel cucumber roll were okay. Overall, we like their service and lunch specials.

Ichiban has been a local institution for years. It is a very popular place for business meetings and people just out for lunch. I have been here many times. Very convenient location. Excellent selection of Korean and Japanese food. The lunch menu is superb with lots of choices and beautiful bento boxes. Service s prompt. There was regular offerings of tea and water refills.
