Awesome dining experience. Phenomenal service. Arrived in town earlier than expected so I phoned in to check on our reservation. Busy night, but the hostess was gracious enough to accommodate 9 of us in their ample lounge/bar area to start with some drinks. Enjoyed a perfect sidecar. At dinner, we indulged in the Lump Crab Tostada for starters. Highly recommend. It was so beyond good that we ordered it twice. The Roasted Sea Scallops were deliciously delectable. An electric atmosphere fills this expansive restaurant, and the presentation over all was impressive. Drinks were a little slow at first but then the pace picked up. Understandable on a busy night. It was the first of three nights celebrating my wife’s birthday. The Chocolate Molten Soufflé didn’t disappoint! A big shout out to our waiter, Milo. He moves with a sense of urgency, attentive to every word being said, and carries himself as if he were the owner. Impeccable service.

Excellent, excellent, EXCELLENT restaurant! Highly recommend if you are in the area. The food was phenomenal and the drinks were amazing. We came here to have dinner to celebrate our anniversary and we were so happy we did. We even got a little extra dessert for the occasion :) The staff was amazing and very attentive.

The waiter was the nicest, super attentive and the food came out fast. The food was delicious!!! Definitely would come back. Expensive but we also had two drinks each, apps, a meal with extra sides and dessert. Worth it!

I stepped up and entered this restaurant with a bit of trepidation, I haven't had good luck with the restaurants in Bishop's Corner. I had a good feel as i entered and was pleased with the atmosphere and the wait staff. A couple big TV's, nice paintings, and a relaxing feel. I looked to the menu and my eyes drifted to the Art of Hollandaise section and more so, drawn to the, homemade corned beef hash benedict with peppers, onions, potatoes, traditional light poached eggs, Hollandaise sauce on grilled corn bread, it was perfect, everything about it. Cornbread, always a nice touch. The has browns had skins, not my favorite, although, most bottoms fried to a crisp and they has sautéed onions. My meal, service and coffee, pretty much flawless. I bet their lunch is great too, ill be back for more, soon.

Chicken and waffles was absolutely amazing!! The skin on it was caramelized and just delicious. They gave us a ton of food! Everything was seasoned great, I wouldn’t come here all the time if I lived closer!

I was visiting from Alabama, and my sister took me to Blue Plate. This place has great food. The grits were creamy, just like I liked them, and the omlet was loaded with meat. I will be back the next time I'm in Connecticut.

WOOD-N-TAP HARTFORD REVIEWS

It was a great date night with my gf and the food was picture perfect and it tasted delicious. I had the bison burger with an egg and Parmesan tots and the burger was huge! And Delicious! My other half had a half rack of ribs and it was so tender juicy and flavorful! The ambient felt clean and fresh air. There’s also seating outside during warm weather and free parking and street parking. The only thing to complain about was the inside seatings a bit too tight but that was about it. I highly recommend this spot the prices are reasonable.

Great place to connect with friends. The food is amazing and has different options for vegetarian and gluten free. The dessert is so yummy.

Great food and drinks love the atmosphere and the customer service was on point.
