BASIL THAI CUISINE REVIEWS

Tonight we celebrated my birthday. Basil Thai is always a good time. The food was good and cooked well. My daughter's food came out with a hair in it. They remade it and didn't charge for it. And also gave my kids a dessert on the house! Great service. We were seated at the very back of the restaurant, by the emergency exit door. I noticef the door needed a deep cleaning and the light fixture above us also needed to be cleaned.

Love this place! The food is fresh, authentic and so very flavorful. I have been twice, and the service was exemplary on both occasions. There's a full bar in this stylish, chic establishment. We love the vibe.

Great Thai food. First time at this location. Service was a little slow but the food was consistent with the other locations. Our server was great.

Trendy Thai restaurant in downtown Columbia. Our server was new, but wonderful, going above what was expected. The salad was on point, spring roll filling had amazing flavor. The PadThai, usually a favorite dish to order, was a little too sweet for my taste. The server said it is house made, and conveniently was ‘fixed’ with a drizzle of fish sauce and lime dressing from the salad). Drunken Noodle was reported to be good, but should have designated heat level upon ordering.

Great date spot. We went for lunch, but it’s probably a better dinner place. The food was spectacular. The shrimp shumai was delicious steamed. I got the drunken noodles, they had a nice spice and an even better sweetness. My husband got the crab fried rice, which he loved, especially the sauce it came with. Both plates were very large portions. They have really comfy seating inside and also dining outside.

Went here Saturday for lunch. Attentive waitress and yummy drinks. Our food was fantastic. If you like brussel sprouts, you have to try theirs!! Our main course was the crab for rice and vegetable medley with shrimp. Both are really good.

I’ve driven past Thailand Restaurant many times and finally had the chance to stop in for dinner, before visiting Saluda Shoals Park, and I’m so glad I did! The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how clean and inviting the restaurant was. The menu had a great selection of vegetarian options, which I really appreciated. I ordered the sweet and sour tofu, and it was absolutely delicious. The sauce had a nostalgic flavor that reminded me of a beloved family recipe from my childhood. The food, atmosphere, and overall experience were fantastic. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

the food is incredible. highly recommend the masaman curry and the thai style papaya salad. i do not eat meat and can eat so much here! i only do takeout & the food is packaged securely and neatly. the service is friendly and respectful. the prices are fair and the food is excellent. vegan friendly for sure! my go-to thai place and my favorite restaurant to recommend. added pics of the menu to this review.

I really enjoyed dining here for lunch today. We ordered Pad ke mow, Green Curry and fresh spring rolls. Everything was presented and prepared well. It was my moms first Thai food and she quite enjoyed it.
