“Cafe Strudel serves delicious food and drinks with friendly service. Trip and Marila Turbyfill opened Cafe Strudel on October 3, 1997. Their son Kyle joined in 2015 as the General Manager and Executive Chef. He brought lots of experience from working at Mangia! Mangia! and training under top chefs. Kyle later chose a different career path and left the cafe in 2019. They added 1,400 more square feet, including a private dining room and a covered patio, both available to rent for private events. Their food is made in-house with care. Their popular dishes include the Grilled Portobello Sandwich, Horseradish Pimento Cheese, Seafood Mac and Cheese, Tuna or Chicken Salad Plate, and Fresh Spinach Salad. They also offer catering and free Wi-Fi.”

CAFE STRUDEL REVIEWS

Traveling thru the area, Cafe Strudel caught my attention for breakfast. Delightful spot where locals & travelers stop to get caffeine, food & caught up on all things local. Charming place & tasty food … sadly I was passing thru & don’t live nearby so my exploration of the menu must wait. Definitely a nice spot for coffee, a meal or just catching up with friends.

Excellent, no-frills breakfast. We had the chicken and waffles and the breakfast quesadilla with added turkey sausage. Everything was delicious, coffee was bottomless and self-serve. Perfect for a filling, tasty breakfast. Would love to come again.

I went for an alcohol lunch, the mimosa was perfect and the food was hot and delish, it was enough to feed two people! I'll be back for brunch!

ANOTHER BROKEN EGG CAFE REVIEWS

Loved it. The staff was very friendly and my meal was delicious. They offer a standard menu and a seasonal menu. I ordered the Louisiana Quiche from the seasonal menu. I chose grits with cheese as my side. All dine in parties receive a complimentary order of Beignets. If that doesn't make you excited, they serve mixed drinks after 10am. You will love it!

We love EVERYTHING about this restaurant. They are consistent. I have never had an unpleasant experience. I'm usually not one for omelets because they are too eggy, but I gave it a try and ordered a Floridian. Best thing I've had in a while. I couldn't eat it all, so I brought it home and ate it for dinner; it still was delicious a second time around.

Such a fun and tasty menu! We thoroughly stuffed ourselves and can’t wait to return. The pancakes, typically not my favorite, were to die for. When we do, we hope to have Cherish as our server. She is top notch!

I enjoy stopping at the Gourmet Shop whenever I'm in Columbia, SC! Such a neat place for lunch, a little shopping of unique items, cheeses, and a great selection of wines. This particular time I tried the Turkey Pesto sandwich with the pesto pasta side and a glass of unsweetened iced tea. As always, everything was delicious. I did give the service a 3-star rating due to having to wait roughly 15 minutes before anyone even asked if I was being served. After that though, the waiter that did wait on the table was fantastic and very pleasant. This will continue to be a regular stop when I'm traveling to SC. I highly recommend checking it out.

What a find! This cute place has everything....shopping, outdoor dining and amazing food! We tried lots of different things, and they were all wonderful/ The charcuterie board was tasty and had a good selection of items to choose form. The soup and salad options were very good, and the breads were super yummy. I would definitely recommend this place!

I ordered the chicken salad with crossiant and veggies Italian pasta salad. Finished off with peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies. Great atmosphere and staff very patient and kind. Amazing things to purchase for the holidays. The food very fresh and delicious.
