They take the time to meet my kiddo at the level he is at. My child is autistic and with that comes difficulty with doing new things, new concepts. If they introduce something new and he struggles, they tell him to take a few minutes, draw, hug mommy, whatever, until he is able to regulate and give it a try. For a mom like me, this is huge. Because not only are they meeting him at his math skills level, they are meeting him at an emotional level that allows him to succeed. They are rewards based for motivation, which is ideal for us. My kiddo wants to know how many stars and cards he has at the end of each session so he can plan what he wants to get out of the reward cabinet. Little bonuses for gaining mastery in an area is amazing. His ability to look at the work and go "if I do just a little more, I can get X." Everyone there is very polite and no one makes him feel rushed. They did not give me what I would consider unrealistic expectations of "we can get him caught up (two grade levels) in the two months of summer." They told me that it will be at his pace and they will partner with his teachers to work on what they are doing in school so he can hopefully catch up by the end of the school year. If he's caught up sooner, great! But even by the end of the school year would be a massive improvement. So many thanks to the staff there. You are appreciated.

I recommend Mathnasium on Hulen St. We have been coming to this location for over two years. Dr. Smith and his staff take the time to get to your child and go above and beyond to do what is necessary to help them. They are intentional and put in the time to help your child succeed. I appreciate what they have done to help my child. Also, this location is very festive.

Mathnasium has transformed my daughters math. The way she does her math, and the way she feels confident doing it. We moved from a public to a charter school and she struggled with math especially. The team is great and they do a great job of making it more “fun” for the kids (because we all remember tutoring wasn’t exactly fun lol) I HIGHLY recommend mathnasium to any kid/parent who is struggling. My experience with Kumon - Woodland Springs has been exceptional. The center has played a crucial role in developing my 2 kids' math and reading skills. Mrs. Georgette is truly amazing—her dedication to helping kids build strong foundations in math and reading is outstanding. The staff is equally impressive, and they create an environment that my kids genuinely enjoy. The homework repetition definitely helps strengthen their brain muscle memory. I’m grateful for this program.

It's almost 2 years since my daughter started math and reading classes at Kumon and I've already seen improvement in her grades at school. She feels very confident in class, and even helps her friends with math problems. School has become so easy for her! I love how the center policies are clearly listed on the website and the homework expectations are communicated at enrollment. The program is definitely worth the investment.

The best experience!!! quality service, my daughter’s math, reading and critical thinking skills increased and she managed to pass the STAAR test thanks to the Kumon! Although she didn’t enjoy doing homework everyday, it quickly became part of her day-to-day routine and she’s used to it now.
