Veg.Edible is a true gem in Omaha’s food scene. From the moment you walk in, the energy is welcoming, the space is inviting, and the food—absolutely unforgettable. Whether you’re fully vegan or just exploring more plant-based meals, this place delivers on flavor, creativity, and heart. Every dish I’ve tried feels carefully crafted and genuinely satisfying. You can tell there’s real passion behind the menu. I especially loved the Chipotle Ranch Fries - the textures and spices were spot-on, and the portion was generous without being overwhelming. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always happy to walk you through the menu or make thoughtful suggestions. You leave not only full, but feeling like you’ve supported something special. Highly recommend Veg.Edible to anyone who loves great food made with intention. It’s definitely one of my go-to spots now.

Such a seriously adorable little restaurant in my favorite part of Omaha. I'm pretty picky when it comes to food and they did not let me down! If you're unsure, the mozzarella sticks, buffalo chick' n salad, and raspberry cheesecake cookie did not disappoint. And everything on the menu is safe for me, gluten and dairy free!!!! Excited to treat myself and have a perfect local spot to support when i come to town! Thank you for rockn' my socks!

My experience was amazing! I had a spicy burger that was actually spicy and really flavorful. On the side it came with huge homemade fries and there were so many of them. They also give you a homemade dipping sauce for the fries which was super tasty. To top it off I had a strawberry shake which I'm tearing up right now. I'll definitely be back.

FIFTH HOUSE REVIEWS

Right when we entered, the manager, Trevor, greeted us with a warm smile! We were sat quickly and had amazing service. We ordered the Arancini for the appetizer and the second I bit into it I was met with a wonderful consistency and full of flavor. I could have had two more and called it my entree, it was so good. When ordering our entrees, Trevor was kind and knowledgeable to our questions. I ordered the porq chops and my wife got the anti establishmentucky fried chicken (and yes we laughed as it was said out loud). The portions were wonderful. We left satisfied and full, but not over-stuffed. The flavor was outstanding with every bite. As a vegetarian, it is difficult to find a good choice that provides me with plenty options. Fifth House fills that void splendidly. 10/10 looking forward to going back to try their other options.

I’m dating a vegan, and one thing I miss about my old routine is going out to eat and trying new places - especially since the menu is usually so limited for them when we go together. We were both excited to see that this place has opened, since Omaha was sorely missing a great vegan spot. I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY today by the three dishes we had. Both texturally and taste-wise, both the seitan buffalo wings and the oyster mushroom “calamari” could have passed for the real dishes themselves. Incredible sauces with both of those. The burger was also fantastic. I need to cop some of these recipes to cook for my s/o at home! Thanks for the great lunch y’all.

Every meal I've had here has been amazing and I'm so glad Fifth House opened. They have all of my favorites from Modern Love but a few unique, new things that have been wonderful as well.

Love this place!! I crave their veggie delight sandwich and taco salad every weekend! Eating one of the smoothie bowls as I type this and it’s just so delicious. As someone who can’t really have any alliums, I love that they don’t use any garlic or onion and everything still tastes so delicious.

SUCH an incredible restaurant! Drove 20 miles west for the salads and it was worth every single second of traveling to get here!! So glad to have found this place. Come here if you’re looking for great service and delicious food! Everything’s organic

I love the Rooted Table. The food is amazing. You can tell everyone really cares. So nurturing and tasty! Vegan can be delicious.
