The food was fantastic! Service was friendly and food was served super fast. I had the bbq ribs with collard greens & jollof rice and the ribs were absolutely spectacular. My daughter had the Sunday brunch with pancakes, sausage, potatoes. 5 stars on all the food. Prices were a bit higher than anticipated, especially for a place that doesn’t have any comfortable dine-in seating. Our total price as over &40 for lunch for 2 people. Still, food is exceptional.

Coming down for a weekend trip to Baltimore from NyC and needed to find a place to kill an hour before my airbnb check in. This amazing vegan soul food spot is a 10 minute walk from the Amtrak station and an excellent inauguration to the spirit of Baltimore. The soul food places in Bushwick Brooklyn wishes they could taste this good. One of the proprietors offered my partner and I three sample cups of various sides unprompted, once again a sort of flourish that is hard to come by in NYC. And I topped off my shared black eyed pea fritters and sides with a strong and satisfying iced ginger tea.

Coming from NC this place hit the spot. Perfectly made sweet tea and greens had me closing my eyes and just savoring. They were busy (which makes sense as the food was amazing). We ended up having a great conversation with the people about being from the south and the good they do for the community. It was just a really lovely time.
