West Suburban Animal Hospital

I came home from a work trip to find my dog in need of an immediate vet visit. We had been using West Toledo Animal Hospital, but I was so frantic I accidentally called West Suburban instead. The receptionist was confused when she couldn’t find us in their system, but she was super nice about it when I realized my mistake, and scheduled my dog in right away even though she wasn’t an existing patient. It actually worked out great because West Suburban is much closer to my home. The staff was super nice and accommodating when we got to the office. My dog is reactive and they arranged for me to bring her in the back entrance so there wouldn’t be a ruckus. They fit us in in between other appointments and even though I assume the doctor was very busy, she took the time to explain exactly what was going on with my dog, what the treatment would be, and what I could expect going forward. The charges for the visit were reasonable and they fit us in for a followup visit as well. West Suburban will be our vet of choice for future care.

To be honest, I was a little skeptical that the surgery would fix our dog. She was basically putting no weight on her knee. Four year old Rottweiler. And even the first couple weeks after the surgery, I was still nervous. However, the doctor reassured me. Everything would be great. And he was right. Our dog is 100%. I couldn’t be happier. The recovery is the most important part about the surgery and I would highly recommend anyone go to this doctor. He is amazing. Follow recovery instructions and your dog will be back to 100%.

Dr. Dan & staff were wonderful with our new lab puppy, Tuukka! He even took the time to talk about training techniques and answered questions I had. Thank you all for a great experience!
