I am new to yoga and started my journey here. I was worried about how approachable the classes would be since I didn't know anything but the instructors were amazing and super helpful! Kristen's Tuesday classes are my favorite. It's a very lively and fun class and a great way to end your evening. Marlene's restorative classes on Mondays are soo relaxing! If you're a beginner I would recommend trying out the gentle and restorative classes first. It helped me familiarize with common poses.
Studio is above Club Ramaj. Look for that sign. Enter 216 building and take elevator to 2nd floor or walk the steps. It is so worth it... Stunning space. Knowledgeable teacher. I have studied at dozens of places all over the country, this is a top 5 on my list. Price is on par with Yoga in a city. Lovely boutique with some pre-loved clothing and other cute items. Will come back when I come to the area again in July. Om.

The studio was established in 2002 in the mid-heart of New Haven. They seek to make Yoga accessible to everyone. FRESH YOGA REVIEWS
I have been practicing yoga for almost 20 years now (7 years at Fresh) and travel an hour and fifteen minutes each way to attend weekly classes there. This past year, at 61, I have successfully rehabbed a full hip replacement under the guidance of Heidi Sormaz, owner and teacher at Fresh. Heidi handpicks her instructors based on her own high standards of experience, skill and dedication to the practice. At Fresh Yoga you will learn to breathe through challenging, interesting classes that are safe at every level. If you are looking to deepen your practice, mindfully, and expand yourself, I highly recommend trying Fresh. In my opinion it is the best yoga studio in CT.
Fresh Yoga has the best teachers in the New Haven area; very knowledgeable and helpful no matter what your level of practice. There are a variety of classes to choose from, at various times of day and at both locations (they have two studios). I practice at Fresh regularly and highly recommend the studio to anyone interested in trying yoga or more experienced folks.
Fresh Yoga is my home studio. In any other place -- from Kripalu to California, Boulder to Bali -- I have always felt completely prepared for the instruction, and able to access the asanas. True that some teachers chant Om & some don't, but all lead intelligent, insightful practices. Thank you, Fresh. :).
