“Fred E. Havlicek earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac College in 1982 and completed his Master of Healthcare Management at the Hartford Graduate Center. Certified in Mulligan Manual Therapy, Certified Manual Therapy, and Graston Technique, Fred is proficient in various treatments including TMJ Treatment, Postural Training, Stretching, Bracing, Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, and other soft tissue mobilization techniques. Fred's extensive experience includes serving as the Chair of the Connecticut Physical Therapy Association (CTAPTA) Student Affairs Committee, as well as being a member of the Scholarship Committee and Advisor for the CTAPTA’s Student Special Interest Group. He also spent 13 years as a member of the Clinical Faculty in the Orthopedic Master’s Degree Program at Quinnipiac University. As a partner and director at Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Centers, Fred collaborates with a team of experts who utilize Manual Therapy and Exercise assessment to evaluate the effectiveness of techniques and adjust programs accordingly. Moreover, Fred shares his knowledge as a lecturer in spinal manual therapy, chronic pain management, and aquatic therapy for orthopedic, sports, and neurological conditions.”
