General Manager Laile Fairbairn and Executive Chef Shane Moore ensure high-quality dishes and excellent service. The restaurant is known for their great food and skilled staff. For private events, the Back Room provides a cozy dining space and also hosts chef dinners, wine events, cocktail classes, and holiday dinners. They have two tables that seat 12 people each, allowing them to host 24 guests. For receptions, they can move the tables aside and accommodate up to 36 people. This is perfect for work meetings, baby showers, business events, and celebrations. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and gift cards are available for a thoughtful gift.

I have been here as least a handful of Time over the year for brunch, lunch, birthday célébration, happy hour, etc. Everything I have ordered from appetizers, drinks, entrées and desserts have been delicious and wonderfully presented. Service is always attentive and prompt. Mine favorite has been the pasta seafood, Mushroom Ajillo, clams, calamari, Pita lamb, etc. I had the macadam croquette once for brunch and that was a little too heavy for me. When we come with the kids, there is a good selection for them as well. Love the trendy decor and the seasonal menu. We seen big party here to couples just going out. My friend who I usually go out to dinner with usually get their carrot cake for dessert. And the drinks are very well made and pretty. Would highly recommend and will come back again.

I was super impressed with the vegan fried Chikn N Waffles they made for the Anchorage Vegan Challenge! Fluffy waffle and the batter on the tempeh was super flavorful.

South is always a wonderful experience! The food is fresh, there are a wide variety of options (but also the classics, like the pictured sourdough pancakes), and the service is always a plus.

After being here multiple times, I already knew I was going to get a good experience. This time outdid the other places I've eaten. The corned beef hash was so good. Let me tell you why. See.. other restaurants just toss the corned beef hash until it's well cooked. Gwennie's made it look more enticing than it already was. My bf said the patty melt had a delicious blend of onions and peppers. Potatoes are delicious as they are but Gwennie's is unbelievable.

I am from Nevada and am here for a conference. I saw this place and had to stop. It was wonderful. Nice atmosphere, all the staff were attentive and helpful, and the food was great. I wanted Reindeer sausage and they did not disappoint.

This is a must. We stopped in for breakfast our last day of our trip, so glad we did. I had them make up a reindeer meat and bacon omelet with biscuits and gravy! Talk about completely satisfied.
