SIMON & SEAFORT'S SALOON & GRILL REVIEWS

We had the grandest time at Simon & Seaforts! We were there celebrating our wedding anniversary & they decorated our table which was the sweetest touch. Our server, Abhay, was so knowledgeable in the history of the location and he really made our time there enjoyable with the best recommendations & the kindest patience for all of our questions! The views were beautiful & the atmosphere was amazing. We loved it so much that we became members & cannot wait to go back!

The food was so amazing, tasty and could not find any faults at all. Older restaurant tucked away - very clean and well maintained. My pictures don’t do the dishes justice as I forgot to take them before eating. Paige was fantastic and so accommodating….great job! This is a hidden gem and highly recommend.

We had a business dinner in the back room so didn’t get to experience the true ambience and view but the food was great! The French onion soup is a whole meal on its own! We will definitely be back!

SOUTH RESTAURANT + COFFEEHOUSE REVIEWS

I have been here as least a handful of Time over the year for brunch, lunch, birthday célébration, happy hour, etc. Everything I have ordered from appetizers, drinks, entrées and desserts have been delicious and wonderfully presented. Service is always attentive and prompt. Mine favorite has been the pasta seafood, Mushroom Ajillo, clams, calamari, Pita lamb, etc. I had the macadam croquette once for brunch and that was a little too heavy for me. When we come with the kids, there is a good selection for them as well. Love the trendy decor and the seasonal menu. We seen big party here to couples just going out. My friend who I usually go out to dinner with usually get their carrot cake for dessert. And the drinks are very well made and pretty. Would highly recommend and will come back again.

I was super impressed with the vegan fried Chikn N Waffles they made for the Anchorage Vegan Challenge! Fluffy waffle and the batter on the tempeh was super flavorful!

South is always a wonderful experience! The food is fresh, there are a wide variety of options (but also the classics, like the pictured sourdough pancakes), and the service is always a plus!

GWENNIE'S OLD ALASKA RESTAURANT REVIEWS

After being here multiple times, I already knew I was going to get a good experience. This time outdid the other places I've eaten. The corned beef hash was so good. Let me tell you why. See.. other restaurants just toss the corned beef hash until it's well cooked. Gwennie's made it look more enticing than it already was. My bf said the patty melt had a delicious blend of onions and peppers. Potatoes are delicious as they are but Gwennie's is unbelievable.

I am from Nevada and am here for a conference. I saw this place and had to stop. It was wonderful. Nice atmosphere, all the staff were attentive and helpful, and the food was great. I wanted Reindeer sausage and they did not disappoint!

This is a must. We stopped in for breakfast our last day of our trip, so glad we did. I had them make up a reindeer meat and bacon omelet with biscuits and gravy! Talk about completely satisfied!!!
