3 Best Vietnamese Restaurants in Anchorage, AK

We found the food excellent and the people extremely helpful. Being a vegetarian , we were particular about the Thai curry base sauce also should not contain things like oyster sauce, etc. The restaurant people were helpful in making the right choice. For example - the yellow curry base does not have any animal product, he recommended to have soft soya cubes rather than fried - since the frying oil is common for meat also. That was very kind of them to warn us. We liked the taste very much. Packed some plain rice also along with to have curd rice later ! Overall - a great place for the vegetarians from India that suits our palate and tasteful.

I got the duck pho and my husband got the oxtail pho the Super Bowl size.My kids got the fried rice, the teriyaki chicken with rice, and the sweet and sour chicken. Every thing tasted delicious and food was great. We spent $81.00 and it was worth it. Portions were perfect and some big but definitely delicious.

Delicious food, the waitress was great, the food was amazing and gi- normous! Didn't wait long at all. Price was relevant to the proportion of food. Friendly atmosphere and overall a pleasant experience.

The food is amazing. If you know what really really good fried rice is, this is the place to get it. If you know what great Vietnamese food is, this will meet your standards. Everything was excellent. Next time, I'll ask for extra pickled cucumber and carrot on my bánh mi. No wait for a table, but I would have! Service was very good and with a smile, though servers seemed to forget that I was quietly waiting in the corner booth to leave. It took a good 30 minutes longer than necessary to get my check and to go boxes, even after my card was on the edge of the table, then I was holding it up next to my face for them to see while trying to make eye contact. I finally went up to the front to get a box. That said, they were very polite and nice, and it won't discourage me from coming back, especially with such great food that came out super fast. I'm still giving 5 stars on service, and don't worry I tipped you very well.

The most perfect stop after a chili morning. I came as the lunch rush was leaving - most tables were full but most people were closing out - it cleared out by 1pm. I ordered a tofu/veggie pho *(they do not have vegetarian broth). It was delicious - hit the spot. Service and food came quickly. The atmosphere was pretty nice - one side where I sat was a typical restaurant with pictures of the diners, drive ins and dives guy - the other there was a bar with a bunch of ‘crap’ behind it - which was weird so i took a star off for that side. I would 100% go back.

I always enjoy coming here. Whether it’s having a girls night dining in or doing my normal pork fried rice take out. Hands down the best fried rice in town & really just the best people. Family ran restaurant, they’re personable & genuine..it really feels like home there. I will happily keep giving my business to Rays & shout out to the owner for the spring rolls on the house tonight they were delicious. Keep up the great work guys, we notice & appreciate you.
