MOONSHINE GRILL REVIEWS
This place was amazing, from the second we walked in we had a great experience. They were on a wait when we got there so they showed us to the patio bar so we could grab a drink while we waited. Our waiter was there every time we needed him and was very friendly. The prices were reasonable for the huge portions we got and everything we had was delicious, we will definitely be back and suggest the you give it a try!!!
I love everything about this restaurant. The drinks were good, the service was excellent and the food was tasty. I ordered the chicken fried steak with a side of mac and cheese and it was delicious. My plate was so big that is enough to share it between 2 people. They have a huge variety of whiskeys. So, if you are a whiskey lover this is the place for you.
Greetings from Mississippi. My wife and I stopped to grab a quick bit for brunch on a Saturday morning. We had a short wait but we were seated within about 15 minutes. We ordered the Chicken and waffles . It was great. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

JACK ALLEN'S KITCHEN REVIEWS
We loved our experience at Jack Allen’s! Our waitress was Jackson and she was so kind and efficient. Our food was GREAT! We had it ALL. We started with wine and beer. Pretty good selection and options. They offer a small little complimentary entree that was really good!! We had the jalapeño crab dip for an appetizer and it was so good. I would highly recommend. It was not too spicy and served warm. For entrees- we had the Southern Crispy Chicken Sandwich. It had pimento cheese, pickled geeen tomatoes (so good!!!) jalapeño mayo, and spicy slaw however I did not find it overly spicy. The flavor was great. The NY Strip fried steak was also amazing. The portion sizes are MASSIVE. We were shocked at the price because it felt like we had so much more food. Finally, we had the flourless chocolate torte and it was also AMAZING. All around great experience and would definitely recommend. We will be back!!
This place was highly recommended by my wedding venue staff from Eloped at Austin. We had our early dinner here after my wedding. The staff was amazing. My server was extremely amazing and exceed my expectations! What an amazing server she is. I can't remember her name, but we were there Sunday party of 8. The food was delicious and exceed all of our expectations! The blondie pie was to die for! My husband loved it! The black cherry mojitos was amazing! All of my family loved their food too! Thank you for making our day special and providing us an amazing service! Definitely will be back! Anytime we visit Austin! From Plano TX!
Love their buttermilk chicken salad with apple pecans and blue cheese. So tasty and fresh. The iced tea is flavorful. The takeout staff is super friendly. I wish they had butternut squash, a french onion, and/or a tortilla soup. I definitely would go back. I will go back for sure.

SALTY SOW REVIEWS
Salty Sow is a popular place so I’d call ahead if you can, even for Happy Hour. It is a great place in East Austin to go to right after work and has delicious food! I keep coming back and recommend it to friends because it is so good! This time we just had some happy hour snacks of deviled eggs and fried chicken with biscuits. They have a great bar menu and I had a maple old fashioned and a strawberry pisco sour. If you need some company, hit me up and let’s go to Salty Sow!
One of the better restaurants we’ve tried in Austin. Huge pro tip - check out their happy hour, which is very generous and ends at 6:30pm. The selection for their happy hour menu is wide and filling, we ended up ordering almost our entire dinner from it. The staff are wonderful, highly recommend.
Cozy atmosphere, delicious food and exciting cocktails! The margarita we found here was the best in Austin, and the food was excellent. Very affordable considering the quality of the food also. Will definitely be coming back next time we’re in Austin!
