GOOD LUCK REVIEWS

Lately my restaurant experiences have been disappointing. The prices have gone up and the quality gone down. Dinner here last night was one of the best ever. The meals were so exceptional for flavor and brought to the table at just the right time to enjoy each unique pairing. We had 5 entrees between the three of us, ending with a shared dessert and the best French press coffee imaginable. What a fantastic treat! The Brussels sprout dish I could eat three meals a day, and the duck was prepared top notch. Creative and tasty. Highly recommend.

We visited Good Luck after a show at the Memorial Art Gallery and had a wonderful time. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making the evening feel special. Our salads were absolutely delicious — fresh, well-balanced, and beautifully prepared. A great spot to enjoy a meal after a night of art and culture.

Exceptional in every way. A beautiful old brick building, great ambience but not too noisy, just gorgeous inside. Great service. And as for the food ... wow! Everything is family style (ie huge portions!) And everything has expectational flavor. Just amazing. The draft beers are great too. Go there hungry.

I absolutely love The Owl House! I haven't been since 2012 when I visited Rochester. I moved here recently, so my friend and I came for brunch. He's vegan, and they have so many awesome vegan options! He had vegan stuffed French Toast that was awesome! The vegan cinnamon struessel tasted so good too! I had The Cat's Pajamas cocktail but with pomegranate because I'm allergic to strawberries and it was delightful! And the Owl House Breakfast was WOW! Those potatoes were FANTASTIC! Everything was fantastic. I can't wait to come back for more. I'm so glad I live close now! The staff is amazing too! So positive and helpful and lovely. Such a fantastic spot! Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and vegan options! Dietary restrictions: Allergy friendly.

The Owl House was a hoot! I was in search of a vegan restaurant to celebrate a family birthday. I loved this place. I loved that there were vegan and non vegan choices. All of the food has great flavor. The mocktails were fun and delicious. I left full and I will be returning. Reservations are recommended. Dietary restrictions: Lots of very flavorful vegan choices!! Parking: Parallel parking skills are a must.

Everything was absolutely delicious. Best meal I have had in long time. Service was very good and ambiance was very warm and intimate.

Our recent experience at The Gate House was fantastic! The food was incredibly delicious, with generous portions—definitely something to remember when ordering. I enjoyed the pizza special, and my daughter loved her hamburger. Both were exceptional. It's a popular spot, so making reservations is advisable as they can get quite busy. Despite the bustle, the staff remained friendly and attentive. The restaurant's location is convenient, and the decor creates a cozy ambiance that enhances the dining experience. Highly recommend for a satisfying meal in a welcoming setting.

Overall a great experience. staff was very friendly and attentive. my burger was a bit dry, wish there was a little more bacon jam on there. eggplant fries were so good. i was surprised to see the cook in the dining room area making salads without a hat or hairnet. they also have vegan and vegetarian options. nice atmosphere great for a night out. Vegetarian options: vegan and vegetarian menu available.

Food is always great as usual. Service is a hit or miss. Last night we got the big nacho platter and 12 chicken wings, half parmigiana cheese and the other half mild Buffalo. Both were amazing. Seated and served quick. When you’re a regular like my parents, they take real good care of you.
