I love The Red Fern and make a point to eat here every time I visit Rochester. The menu offers a wide variety of both familiar and creative dishes, the food is fresh, delicious and healthy. I'm not big on desserts but there's usually a steady stream of customers dropping in just to buy cookies & baked goods to go. Whether it's busy or not, the staff are friendly and make you feel welcomed.

This place is amazing! As a newly vegan,, I'm missing the flavor and seasonings of what I ate for so many years, I'm so happy to have found Red Fern! The taste of their food is delicious I had a "Compost Plate" Alkaline drink, cheese and fruit tray & my daughter had a Buhdda Bowl! We were not disappointed at all.

I’ve eaten here more times than I can count. The food is always very good. The service is great as well. The food doesn’t take long to prepare and the staff are super friendly. I even ordered a delivery birthday Brownie for a friend and they wrote Happy Birthday on the to-go box! Red Fern is the best.

This was my first time at The Owl House and it was so delightful! I loved the ambiance of the restaurant and definitely recommend the patio if you're able to get a seat there. I had the "goose juice" cocktail ???? as well as the summer pasta. My partner ordered the cauliflower wings (I had to steal a few - yum!) and the salmon. Everything was well-prepared and delicious! Our server was funny and did a great job of taking care of us.

Cute and cozy restaurant in a house! The atmosphere was great, the staff was super welcoming and helpful, and there was a lovely selection of food and beverages for every eater/drinker. Fun cocktails, mocktails, draft beers, and a nice wine list, as well as a plant forward menu with vegan, vegetarian, and omnivore options. I loved my dish, the tofu dinner with risotto and broccolini. Absolutely phenomenal. Can't wait to come back on a future visit to try the vegan Mmac n cheese.

I was driving down Monroe to head to Costco and I seen grass fed vegan butcher. I was immediately intrigued! So I stopped in the staff was informative and welcoming. The space is laid back, cleanly and has great natural lighting. I haven’t gotten my vegan sub yet, but I tested the roast beef and it was delicious! I also tasted the walnut chocolate chip cookie Top tier. Now I know where to stock up when my cycle comes on and I don’t want to eat digusting dairy cookies. Anywho I love it here I intend to revisit often.

On a brief trip to Rochester NY it was a treat to meet paths with this... wait for it... vegan butcher. I'd heard of the concept but never been to one. Buy it by the vegan pound and have an amazing sandwich while there. Tried three sandwiches and all were stellar. Thanks for existing and thanks for the great meal.

This is an incredibly needed deli! You aren’t contributing to animal cruelty here! There are a couple design additions that would help customer flow. Pricing would do well on the name tags in the case like most delis instead of or in addition to being on the wall. Also the front counter looks a bit frumpy. Sandwich took a little time to make for being the only customer in line, but all good things take time, the food was incredible.
