GREAT WAVES WATERPARK REVIEWS
The Great Waves Waterpark has ample space for alot of park goers. There is a variety of activities for all ages. The lifeguards were very focused on the swimmers. They were friendly yet clear on the rules. We brought food and had to leave it in the car. It was nice to be able to have the option to leave, eat and reenter the park. Fun way to spend the afternoon. Definitely will go back.
The amount of fun for the price was great. The wave pool was a hit and my young children loved the slides. The staff also helped with finding my kid that ran off. The food prices were reasonable and tastes pretty good. I would return.
Great Waterpark! The wave pool and slides are so fun, and there are slides for big kids and toddlers. The splash are is big for the little ones. It's packed on weekends.

PIRATE'S COVE WATERPARK REVIEWS
I'm really impressed with this place, especially for a state run establishment. There's a whole day of fun for the whole family and the entry fee seems reasonable. Especially, if you compair the seasonal pass to the cost of an annual community pool. The food is comfort food and the hot dogs were good, but the rest of the food is decent too. Plan to spend about $20 for a family of 4 for the food. The kids really enjoy the sand play area.
Clean facility, the staff appear well trained and coordinated. The pool was clean, the slide was fun for kids and adults. There are several play areas in and out of the water for younger children. Over all, I'm happy to have spent time at this pool area, I would definitely recommend it if you're in the area.
You were passing through Virginia and we decided to go to this place. I really liked it a lot since it is ideal for children. I just sat in a chair and watched my children play without worrying about walking behind them taking care of them.

I love going here. The lazy river is by far the best part of the water park. It is kid friendly. Water slides for all age groups. Recommend that you get there early to reserve a spot or go online to reserve a spot. A very nice decent place to have fun for all ages. And the food there is delicious hands down.
