HUNTLEY MEADOWS PARK REVIEWS
Fall is such a treat at Huntley Meadows! This continues to be one of our favorite places to visit. The visitor center has excellent information on local birds. The volunteers are also filled with a wealth of knowledge. If you’ve visited during the spring and summer, come back for the leaves turning. Really beautiful.
This is one of the best parks I have ever been to. The trails were clean. The nature was beautiful. There were many spots you can stop to enjoy the views or take photos. We saw frogs, snakes, many types of birds, turtles... And the best one for us was muskrets. We had a great time at the park.
One of the best places around for wildlife observation! There are so many beautiful birds, turtles, and frogs and the scenery is amazing.

MOUNT VERNON TRAIL REVIEWS
My hike covered parts of miles 1 and 2 of the 14 mile, Mount Vernon Trail, within the George Washington Memorial Parkway. If you're starting at Mount Vernon, the mile one trail runs into Riverside Park. Continue on pass mile two marker, you will observe signs for larger, Fort Hunt Park. Observe nature, Potomac River, picnic areas, and restrooms on site. Parking at various points along the trail, for site seeing, or other activities.
Great paved trail between DC and Mt Vernon. Parked at Jomes point rode to Mt. Vernon and back. Gets twisty and fun in some areas. Alternates from woods to Great views of the river. More hills than advertised gets hillier the closer you get to Mt. Vernon. Great ride.
Whenever I'm in Alexandria I always stop by for a quick stroll. My husband proposed to me on this trail and now I get to share it with my kids.

DORA KELLEY NATURE PARK REVIEWS
Awesome trails, very smooth pavement and really nice neighbors ???? the kids playground is a little old and broken all over the place lol but it still works. I can’t wait to visit during the summer and see this place at full bloom! It definitely feels like you drove a couple hours to get away from a busy area when in reality you are right in the middle of it. Love it
It's nextdoor and I enjoy hiking there at least once a week. How wonderful to be able to live so in touch with the nature even though you're in the heart of a great city.
A beautiful park. I only visited it in March on a cold cusp of spring, so no peak foliage, but I can only imagine how nice it is in spring/summer.
