FOUNDERS PARK REVIEWS
A nice pocket park with lots of people and a great view of the Potomac. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair and watch the world go by!! Great for seeing the sunset or sunrise and within walking distance of restaurants and shops.
Nice park. Heart for having fun with the kids without worrying about social distance because of large space and few people around. Fine Arts Center and nice restaurants are walking distance.
Another nice park along the river. Just big enough to enjoy without being crowded but small enough to feel intimate. Enjoyed sitting and watching the boats and planes.

ORONOCO BAY PARK REVIEWS
Access to running, biking, and walking trail. Enjoyed a long walk on a beautiful fall afternoon! Highly relaxing and recommended! Enjoy.
A nice medium-sized park with great views of the bay and easy access to many neighborhoods of Alexandria. We enjoyed our time there and noticed that, while it was by no means empty, that it was not nearly as crowded as many of the other options in the area for relaxing outdoors. Lots of Park benches and nice flat areas with trimmed grass for having picnics (which we did). Would go back anytime and my family enjoys it there.
One of the best Anniversary celebrations I have ever seen. Mesmerizing fireworks display and patriotic music played live by the President's Own Marine Corps Orchestra.

I love coming here at night time just to relax and wind down. It's a great spot just to sit and watch the airplanes above pass by. Also theres a great view of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge and the MGM. Definetly recommend coming here at night time. Beware of otters though.
Well, I did not use the park but did park and walked the potomac and neighborhoods. Great view along the river. The park looked fun for families.
Another great place for children to release energy and have fun! My granddaughter loves this park. I enjoy meeting the parents to share stories.
