Very nice place for a short walk with a family. This little ecosystem consists of a mixed forest and a lake and wetlands. This attracts birds, turtles, beavers, and photographers. Archers can hunt deer in the forest. Dogs can visit this park but are not allowed on the boardwalk. A lake area is a good place for bird watchers. Two types of herons are often there, egrets, woodpeckers and kingfishers are easy to spot too.

I love this park! It is well-maintained, with a great view of the water. Our cat likes to explore the four acres and look at the well-behaved dogs in the park. There are people playing volleyball and families having picnics. The park is in a central location, close to the Torpedo Art Factory and other attractions.
