“2026 Update: Autry Museum of the American West is dedicated to exploring an inclusive history of the American West. Founded in 1988, the museum presents a wide range of exhibitions and public programs, including lectures, festivals, family events, film, theatre, and music, and performs scholarship, research, and educational outreach. The museum attracts about 150,000 visitors annually and contains a 238,000-piece collection that includes 14,000 baskets, 10,000 ceramic items, 6,300 textiles and weavings, and more than 1,100 pieces of jewellery. Autry Museum of the American West host program called Native Voices that has produced over 34 full productions, gone on over 20 tours, with 23 new play festivals and 13 Native playwrights. ”

NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY REVIEWS

It's been a long time since the last time I was here nearly 25 years, now as an adult im glad I was able to come here. The exhibition are very diverse with cool displays obvious don't touch, only look. Learn the history that these animals roaming in our city and the city it self. Although I wasn't able to exploring the entire facility cause of I came before closing maybe next time. If your an LA county resident its free just show ID or valid credentials its from 3 to 5pm. Staff is super friendly and don't worry they won't come alive.

Great place to visit with kids! The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County has rich exhibits that are both fun and educational. The dinosaur 3D show is definitely worth watching and very engaging for children. Visitor tips: California residents get free admission after 3:00 PM, which is a great deal. For parking, it’s best to park at the California Science Center parking area and walk over. Highly recommended for families planning a half-day visit.

Unbelievable experience visiting the Natural History museum in LA. Parking was convenient, staff were super friendly. The exhibits are presented and preserved very well. We loved the Dino & mammal exhibits. The mineral expo and Mayan civilization artifacts were marvelous too. The only downside was that the food in the in-house restaurant (Neighborhood grill). Expensive food that was mediocre at best.

Amazing museum! Exceeded my expectations. Fantastic galleries, and loved the interactive areas. Staff was all so pleasant and passionate about their job and the history! Don’t even get me started on their small garden with a whole water fountain. Would definitely recommend. Underrated gem!

Ample parking. Reasonable entry fee. Friendly staff. This was my first visit, which happened to be during the holiday season. I enjoyed the holiday decorations. Nice touch and great photo ops. The Black Cowboy Exhibit was superb!

I was really surprised about how well laid out the museum was. The exhibits flowed brilliantly allowing you to emerse yourself in the displays. Really would recommend to anyone interested in the wild west.

GRAMMY MUSEUM REVIEWS

Great music covering pop culture from the last century and more; rare and unique artifacts, memorabilia, actual wardrobe used by artists, the evolution of the Grammy Award; hands on exhibits for children and those young at heart. We came to see the Selena exhibit, amazing to see such an iconic set of pieces from a world renowned artist that influenced so many younger artists and generations. What could have made it better? The organization of the way the exhibition was set up. It was placed in the fourth floor of the museum and I would argue it could have had a larger section of museum to accommodate all the visitors. Alas, the signage was poor about there being a queue line required to see her exhibition. Not clear when we first got to that floor. Great museum other than that experience, very cool to see all the iconic moments in music and pop culture history.

My children and I had a blast. We were there to see the Selena exhibit. We then enjoyed the entire museum. Got to share my memories with my kids on alot of the artist in the museum that I grew up listening growing up. They got to see some of their artist from their time. We will love to comeback and bring other family to enjoy it. Its free for 17 and under. Buy the tickets in advanced.

I absolutely LOVE it here!!! I have been to the Grammy museum multiple times and each time is a new experience. There is so much to see. I love the interactive play, the details ...this time we went to see the Selena exhibit!!! WOWWWW!!! Such a beautiful tribute. I am excited to see what's next. See ya soon Grammy museum!
