TOP 3 NICKELODEON UNIVERSE REVIEWS
If your have younger children I highly recommend this place. I have a 7, 5, and 3 year old. My youngest was able to go on quite a few things, if not by herself then with an adult, which they call chaperones and my husband was told they don't need a ticket but I had one anyways. My 7 year old at 48 inched was able to go on every ride she wanted. We only didn't go on a couple she didn't want to. My middle was also able to go on most of them minus a few bug Ines. They loved it. We got there at 11am ish and stayed until 5:30pm. If you are looking to eat at rainforest cafe, I highly recommend making a reservation online as our wait time was 45 mins to an hour so we chose to eat elsewhere. Overall my kids had a blast and they're begging to go again. I had fun as well.
We took the boys here for a day to go on some rides. It was spring break, so we expected it to be busy. If you get there right away a half hour or so before the rides open up, you can get right up in front of the line. There are lots of good rides for kids of all ages. The rides for the younger kids are much easier to get on than the roller coasters. It was a day of entertainment, and the coat of the day pass wasn't terrible.
The prices are reasonable for a day pass. Kids had a blast. Do feel I wasted money on one ticket because it wasn't much he could do considering his height. The lines were long but moved fairly quickly. We will definitely visit again.

TOP 3 VALLEYFAIR REVIEWS
I really liked my first visit to Valleyfair. The park layout is a little odd, but my brother and I figured it out pretty quick. The place has great scenery, lots of plants, trees and there's a few coasters that really fit in their respective areas. Corkscrew over the water looks great. Wild Thing in the back, towering over everything. Valleyfair has a great energy. And their number one coaster, Renegade is awesome. One of the better GCIs for sure. Needs some smoothing in a couple spots, but other than that 10/10. High Roller, the park's other wooden roller coaster was also great. Nice force and air, while still being very smooth. Steel Venom was good, Wild Thing was bland, Corkscrew was also kinda bland. But I really enjoyed my visit, which was in the fall so it was pretty cold.
Fun for all ages, there's even rides for little kids. For some reason tickets online are way cheaper than paying at the gate. If you are going on busy days, fast pass would be good if you don't want to wait in line for an hour. Food & drinks are expensive! You can always re-enter so if you wanna save some money you can bring your own food from home and leave it in a cooler in the car. Kids are going to be super tired so strollers and trolleys would be really handy.
This was the highlight of my kid's summer vacation! Highly recommend going during the week and during the State Fair so lines are shorter. Bought 2 premium meal plans for 6 people and ate every 90 minutes. Drink refills every 15 minutes. Water park was a hit and the wave pool. Be sure kids are 48" or options for rides are more limited. Stayed until it closed at 10pm.

TOP 3 CASCADE BAY WATER PARK REVIEWS
Cascade Bay is such a great spot for families of young elementary aged kids. 7 slides, huge shallow swimming area, giant lazy river that has a pretty strong current (aka it’s actually fun!), and lots of food options. Fountain drinks, bottled drinks, grill options, fries, and tons of packaged snacks. Also ice cream! Lots of families and places to sit, we were easily able to snag seats both times we’ve visited and arrived when it opened. Showers and changing rooms are clean. Heads up that goggles with the nose covered are not allowed! Website says no food or drinks allowed in, but it is not enforced at all.
Very reasonable water park. Went on a Wednesday 2nd session and it was so nice. No long lines, plenty of seating and shade screens to lounge under, pools were nice and well cared for. Water slides were all super fun. Area right in the park were we could eat. We all enjoyed every minute of it! If we are back this way in the future we would definitely make a stop!
This is a summer time operation only and is run by the City of Eagan. It is a nice water park with many activities one can get immersed in during the day. It is cheaper to buy your tickets ahead of time, but one can still get tickets at the entrance. Would recommend that one go during the weekday as the weekend is super crowded.
