TOP 3 LAKE OF THE ISLES PARK REVIEWS
While still busy, it is definitely the quietest and least busy of the three lakes. It's narrow and long, making for a different walling experience. The vibes is a bit calmer and there are areas to rent paddle boards, kayaks, etc. I love the chairs that they have set up around the paths.
Beautiful lake in a very nice area. Had a launch for kayaking, and the water was very calm. I was just visiting, but I would definitely go back. I brought my own kayak but it looked there were kayak and paddle board rental options near by.
Minneapolis is the most beautiful city in the world. I took these photos when there was still some ice on the lakes. I will say that it is during summer and fall when it's the most beautiful. These photos show before the true beauty. When everything is green and súper awesome.

TOP 3 LAKE NOKOMIS PARK REVIEWS
Great lake with paddleboats, swimming with lifeguards, kayaking and fishing. We rented kayaks for one hours and it was a blast. The airplanes land right over your head! Pretty cool to see them from the water right over head. The lake was great and calm with no powered boats. Great day.
What a beautiful day for a walk and what a beautiful path around the lake! The only downfall was that there were porta potties only on one side of the lake, So when we had to go to the bathroom, we had to walk halfway around the lake to get to the bathroom. I am sure as the weather warms up that they'll open the other restrooms as well but in the meantime plan ahead!
This park is absolutely gorgeous! Tons of bike trails and walking paths. You can rent paddle boards and mini boats to ride across the lake. We look forward to going back.

TOP 3 BOOM ISLAND PARK REVIEWS
What a beautiful park right next to the river! There is a lot of space to move around. There are also a lot of paths to ride a bike. There is a small play area but it looks rather old and beat up. I noticed it was made out of wood. There is a parking lot. We actually came from Nicolette Island where a small bridge takes you over the river to Boom Island Park. The sunsets are beautiful. There are a few mosaic pieces that are worth checking out.
One of my favorite parks! Such awesome views of the city and many well maintained, paved walking paths. On top of it the park is huge, AND it's connected to Nicollet Island via the footbridge "River Xings" on Google maps. Lots to see and explore here!
A unique and historic park in Minneapolis. I really liked the old railroad bridge it really adds to the vibe. Good trails especially for an urban park. One of the top parks in Minneapolis in my opinion.
