The care staff and nursing staff come to know and care about the residents and their families -- right down to little things like favorite treats or snacks, and favorite composers. They attend to the residents in ways that only family members would. Most of the staff has been at Pacific Gardens for years, which says a great deal about the place, given the usual turn over rate at care facilities. The staff here has a vocation -- to care for the residents. And they shine.

My mother is a resident in the memory services side, and there is so much I appreciate about her being at Pacific Gardens. She had a hard time transitioning, and the director of resident care stayed in close contact with me about her status and made recommendations that helped her get comfortable. There are good days and bad days for my mom, but it's so much better. I visit at different times of day, and I see that the residents are doing many different kinds of activities throughout the day--not just watching TV! This is something I wanted for my mom, who had isolated herself during the pandemic. To see her talking, joking, and singing with the other residents, and the caregivers, is like seeing her back to her true self. All credit to the experienced Pacific Gardens staff, who have been unfailingly kind and responsive as we navigate this difficult transition.

Priya Living is the best community for seniors in the Bay Area. The Community Director is a great person and the activities are very fun and engaging. The grounds have a very nice design - inspired in the colors and forms from India.

This place is wonderful. The units are beautiful and there is such a strong sense of community amongst the residents.
