3 Best Assisted Living Facilities in Thornton, CO

The assisted living center at Bonnaventure of Thornton is a high quality living facility for seniors. The Director Gloria and front desk receptionist’s, Evita were very friendly, accommodating and helpful, reaching out to assist with every need, when I stayed 2 weeks as a guest with my mother who has lived there for 2 years. Leo, the driver provided transportation to the Dr.’s for my mother in a safe and caring manner. George handled s maintenance / safety problem my mother had with a fast response. The activity director’s are caring, friendly, and creative with numerous activities throughout the week. The food was good most of the time but on some days it could be improved, however choices of different foods were available. I highly recommend Bonaventure of Thornton as a safe and caring place to live with a community and family atmosphere.

I have had personal interactions with the senior leadership of this community. All I can say is they extended substantial acts of kindness to people I care about, who they knew were NOT going to be living in their community. If they are willing to give kindness for people who don't live there, imagine what they'll do for those who do.

A little over a year ago, we moved my mom here from out of state as her health was failing and she agreed she could no longer care for herself. We researched and visited other locations, but the small residential setup allowing for more personal attention, coupled with the compassion and care shown by the staff, made our choice of RMAL in Thornton an easy decision. Melanie and Tina were instrumental in helping us navigate what could've been a daunting process, as this was all so new to us. And while initially mom had some difficulty accepting this major change in her life, the staff, and especially house manager Brittany, were so terrific in helping her with the transition. We are so grateful for the care mom has received and credit that with playing a large role in her improved health and quality of life. We can't say enough positive things about the people who make RMAL a great place for mom to live... from executive management and supervisors to the great facility guys, and especially the amazing women who cook, clean, and care for the residents day in and day out, a huge thank you!!

My mom was transferred to Rocky Mountain Memory Care. She is not an easy resident. She thinks she is just fine. The staff have provided her so much attention that the transition has not been nearly as bad as I expected. The staff has been wonderful and Priscilla, the Resident Care Coordinator, has been amazing , updating me continually with how my mom is doing. I highly recommend this memory care.

I have had the honor and pleasure of providing end of life care to residents at Rocky Mountain Assisted Living since November of last year, 2021. Each time I visit, I am continually impressed by the staff's love, attention, care and compassion for all of the residents.
