MESHUGGAH BAGELS REVIEWS

Cozy shop with the best bagels I’ve had in KC! Great selection of bagels, schmears, sandwiches and drinks too. They offer a few dairy free (vegan) schmears! The smell as you walk in sets the tone for a great morning! The bagels are perfect in every way and quite large. We will be sure to come back.

Super easy to walk to if you’re in the downtown area. Cozy and welcoming. Delicious bagels and schmears. We got there later in the morning (10ish or so), so some options were no longer available as expected, but we went very happy with what we did get! Nice street view too.

This is a lovely little spot on 39th street about 3 minutes away from KU Med. The bagel are very good, and the coffee is from The Roasterie. I love the Lox and Bagel. The location is quite charming and the service is quick and efficient.

Lots of seating, great service and very clean! Loved the Mac and cheese with the Chicken bacon ranch sandwich. Tomato soup was a 10/10!!!.

They definitely have great bagels when hot and fresh. I arrived 15 minutes before open and there were already 8 people in line. The line seemed to take an unusual amount of time, but upon ordering I was excited as it smelled great. I ordered a few single bagels and 2 breakfast sandwiches. The bagel sandwiches were great no complaints. My disappointment came from my everything bagel which honestly tasted old it was extremely tough like it was from yesterday or beyond. The other single bagels were piping hot and delicious. They seem to always have a line and ordering ahead doesn’t cut the line. Overall on a next visit I may bump it to a 5, but the stale everything bagel just rub me the wrong way when arriving at opening. I definitely recommend the #2 Bacon, Egg, Hemme Bros Cheddar, Scallion Schmear on Cheddar Serrano!.

We finally made it to Luca! We went at 1:00 on Saturday and there was a line out the door. They were out of some bagels but I expected that. We got the egg, turkey bacon, and cheese bagel with hot honey and the standard Lox. Both were insanely good. There was nowhere to sit so we took our food to BKS and paired our bagels with beers. Highly recommend.

Stopped by for the first time today, just moved from New Jersey. First thing I was looking for was a good “Taylor” ham egg and cheese. Boy did this place not disappoint, if anything we need to step it up back home. Staff was so nice, place felt like home and Bagel was to die for! Great experience!.
