No place to sit and eat as it's pick up and go. So delicious! I go here every time I'm in Richmond.

I wish this business was here when I still lived in Churchill ! The pies are so fresh and full of flavor, I can’t pick a favorite . I like the convenience of the walk up window. Fast and friendly.

I have literally never had a bad savory pie from proper pie and I’ve tried a lot of them. All hits no misses. The crust is always amazing, the flavors are comforting. They freeze and reheat well. This is my death row meal. Don’t sleep on proper pie.

I think this might be one of the best croissants I've had in the US. Perfectly flakey and crispy with a soft interior. Everything we ordered was incredible.

The biggest fattest most delicious bacon egg and cheese croissant I’ve ever since eaten.

I ordered a custom cake for my daughter’s first birthday party and it was beyond expectations. The cake was delicious and the decorations were beautiful. Everything about the process was easy, thank you so much for working with me. I’ll def be back in the future.

I have loved WPA for 14 years, since they opened up in Church Hill. I got my wedding cake, husband’s 40th bday cake, my 30th bday cake, and our baby shower cake here. We also had them make mini paquets for our wedding. So many people complimented the wedding cake saying that it was the best tasting wedding cake they’d ever had. I believe that’s because the effort goes into the taste and not necessarily the fanciness of the cake. I’m more into just buttercream than fondant, personally. Though their cake decorator now, Claire, makes both a delicious and beautifully decorated cake. She decorated our baby shower cake pictured. Best cakes in town, in my humble opinion.
