GARCIA'S BAKERY REVIEWS
This panadería is one of the best in Simi Valley. Their Mexican sweet bread is very tasty. Just make sure to ask for the bread made that day. I really like the circular ones with a sugary yellow crust top. It’s got it’s own name call Chilindrina. The TAMALES are authentic and very delicious too. Highly recommend the ones made with pork w/ red sauce. The cheese tamales are very tasty too. They also sell a variety of cakes which you can preorder for a big party. They keep a variety of piñatas too.
This is our favorite place for a genuine Mexican breakfast. They have a huge menu with a great variety of plates for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They also offer the best freshly made milk shakes, and smoothies. The staff is very friendly and fast service. Also try their Mexican Ham tortas(ham sandwich), delicious.
Dark roast is amazing. Friendly people and a good atmosphere.

LE HÉRISSON REVIEWS
I love this place. This is what baked goods should taste like. Croissants that are like a crispy light cloud of butter. Cinnamon rolls that are delicate and just the right amount of gooey and sweet. These are not corporate cinnamon rolls. The croque monsieur was hot melty goodness on a freezing cold morning. For the fusion cuisine there are matcha muffins and matcha danishes. The matcha muffin is unusual but I loved it. It's a dense, green reminder there is a Japanese baker in charge. I'm sure that's why there are yummy pastry balls filled with sweet bean paste or Japanese curry. The matcha latte was a perfect hot, creamy, foamy accompaniment to this perfect flavor parade. Loved the egg, bacon and cheese pastry as well as the sausage and jalapeno peppers covered in cheddar cheese. Did I mention she makes banana cream pie? Everything we ordered was delicious and baked to perfection. Great place to spend a Saturday morning or grab something to eat at home. If you have friends in town who will be visiting the Reagan Library, I would tell them to swing by Le Herisson and pick up a hot coffee or tea and take along some incredible pastries. This place is a keeper and another reason to be proud of our city.
Everything I've tried is fantastic. It gets very busy and things sell out so go early if you want a specific item. Pricing is very reasonable and service is good.
Absolutely incredible pastries! We had such a good food the first time we came we organized a whole brunch to try all of the pastries that had in one morning. I have never had a better time!

EMIL'S BAKE HOUSE REVIEWS
OMG! This Lil joint is AWESOME! It's a bakery I needed something hot to take to the beach when I walked in I figured I was gonna get something sweet and hot drink I told her was gonna run to the daily income back Delhi didn't have soup so I came back in and she said we have soup the most awesome lentil soup I have ever had it was so good! She offered me some bread to go with it and made me the most stupendous mocha coffee with a shot of black cherry and I got some chocolate bottom macaroons. This place is a hidden treasure I highly recommend their sweets are decadent looking But from what I had they must be amazing. I only wish I got the female servers name. She was absolutely sweet very accommodating and a joyful smile even behind her mask. My God I just ate one of the macaroons with the chocolate bottoms To die for!!! Back Again for more goodies n goodness new pics excellent service.
I love Emil's baked cakes. Their fruit cake is one of a kind, and their chocolate cake (gluten free, gelatin free) is always a highlight of any party. The other day we got thier raspberry cake (with almond flour, I think) and it was again a great hit.
We ordered a unique cake for our agency's event, it was a beautiful cake which incorporated all the February festivities and employee birthdays. This was a last minute order and Emil's Bake House delivered! Good tasting product for a great price. Highly recommend!
