"Sutter’s Mill offers a wide range of steaks, seafood, and Sunday brunch. The restaurant is located in Griffin Plaza. Jerry and Lee Woods are the founders of Sutter's Mill at the corner of Foothill and Sayre in Sylmar. In the next 20 years, two more restaurants and a nightclub were added. The founder's son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Salli, opened the Simi Valley. Their banquet rooms are perfect for any event and can accommodate up to 55 guests. Their private room bookings are available with a minimum of 30 people. The informal dining experience provides a touch of elegance in a picturesque steakhouse atmosphere. Kids' menu is complimentary for those 7 and under.

My nephew treated my brother and me to an amazing dinner at Larsen’s Steakhouse in Simi Valley. My brother had the sliced tri-tip and ribs , I had the Chardonnay-soaked cedar plank salmon, and my nephew enjoyed the prime ribeye . We started with the Maryland crab cakes , jumbo bacon-wrapped shrimp , and dinner rolls—everything was absolutely delicious! Chris, our waiter, was fantastic—friendly, professional, and spot-on with his recommendations. As someone visiting from Dallas, Texas, where steaks and BBQ are king, I have to say Larsen’s hit it out of the park. I’ll definitely be back.

A great American steakhouse with some of the best staff and atmosphere of any restaurant. The staff is always attentive checking up to make sure everything is okay, while the atmosphere matches that of a steakhouse. The food for the most part was good. I got an Oscar style steak to celebrate--the steak was one of my favorites steaks I've ever tried. The butter cake is amazing, the prime rib dip sandwich...eh. Still, I definitely recommend to come to this restaurant for celebrations.

Dry aged ribeye medium rare was more on the rare side. Cold water lobster tail was fantastic!! Sautéed broccolini was good. The loaded baked potato was huge!! The garlic cheese toast was really good. Really good glass of Malbec paired perfectly with the steak. Great anniversary dinner!! Super friendly staff, and very nice atmosphere. Easy parking. I highly enjoy this restaurant.

I take my family here when I want to celebrate special occasions. It takes me back to a more simple time - when families sat down for a meal together. And the FOOD.. DELICIOUS. I have had the 8oz and 12oz prime rib, as well as the rib eye steak. All were phenomenal! (I love the prime rib!) The twice baked potato is fabulous! Service is great. And I just love the atmosphere. So warm and homie. If you are looking for trendy, this is not it. But if you want good food for a good value THIS IS THE BEST.

We always drive by this location and decided to give Sutter Mill a try. The interior resembles a time capsule from possibly the prohibition era. We were seated in the back area and the room seemed so private. It was nice to enjoy a really great dinner with my husband in such an intimate setting. The food was good and the service was excellent.

Came to celebrate my Boyfriend's birthday and was not disappointed. Our waitress Donna, was such a sweet lady. Everything tasted so good and the service was great. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend Sutter's Mill.

TGI FRIDAYS REVIEWS

Had the date night special, which included 3 appetizers , two entrees, and a dessert. Had a cute waitress named Yashira, who was very smart and efficient. The manager was very kind as well. We loved our pot stickers, loaded potato skins, and mozzarella sticks. Great sauces. We then had whiskey glazed ribs, and million dollar cobb salad, and a Brownie Obsession for dessert! So yummy. We are stuffed and happy. Great deal. Oh and my friend got a drink called a Chocolate Lovers Tini. All was delicious.

TGI Friday in porter ranch is our go to & we come here every Friday evening. We love to sit at the bar where Elvia & Monica are always ready to attend us & practically know our order & favorite drinks. They’re amazing! Always greet us with a smile & Fast service, friendly & always checking on us to make sure we’re good! Love that TGI always has the games on & music (sometimes DJ). Food is great! I love the appetizer platter.

The new waiter, James, was amazing. We had a party of 17 and he was so attentive. Taylor was super friendly. Not one mistake. Orders were perfect. Drinks always refilled. If I could give 10 stars, I would.
