BEYOND BREAD REVIEWS
Stopped here when a restaurant down the road had a 30 minute wait. This was a great find. Service was quick and food good. We ordered the swiss and scallion quiche, the bacon and cheddar quiche and avocado toast. Both quiches were tasty. Avocado toast had great fresh ingredients, but lacked taste. Probably just needed a little salt and pepper but none were on the outside tables. Will be back.
Stop in for a sweet treat to take home. The carrot cake cheese cake was beyond delicious! With the creamy frosting along with the carrots, raisins & walnut so moist & good! Also had the cookies & cream cheese cake that too was very good! Staff was very friendly & helpful. Definitely would stop in again.
Great sandwiches. The best ingredients, exceptional bread and a wide selection will always help you find the perfect sandwich for you and your mood. Always a win have lunch or breakfast here.

LA ESTRELLA BAKERY INC. REVIEWS
So awesome! My son took me here said it was the best and I had to get some of the pastries before I left back home to Florida. So I bought pastries and tortillas. Yes fresh tortillas. He was so dang right these are awesome pastries. We ate them on our trip back to the East coast. I enjoyed the flavor. My younger son absolutely loved all the different ones, we shared so we could experience each different kind and what they tasted like. Thank you for making our taste buds happy.
Very busy little bakery which lead me to believe the pastries we were about to purchase would be the bomb! Mexican baked goods bring back many memories of my younger years in Tucson. Empanadas were excellent. Thank you for the memories. If your visiting, La Estrella is a must.
I love their tortillas, empanadas, and other bakery items! They are so good. I usually pick up spinach tortillas too. We will be taking some bakery items to our kids out-of-state so the young man wrapped them in plastic to keep them fresh.

VIRO'S ITALIAN BAKERY & CAFE REVIEWS
So I had never even heard of this spot until I saw it come across a local food blog. My coworker and I decided we should head over and try it out out. The staff was oh so pleasant and guided us through the menu. I got the daily special, which was a sausage and peppers sandwich. I had coleslaw and a side of marinara. My sandwich was wonderful and the coleslaw had some good tang. My coworker got the meatball sub. Both were delightful, but we ended up switching because she enjoyed the sausage and peppers and I really liked the meatballs. Both were top notch lunch sandwiches. The sweets were a nice treat. I picked up some specialty items for the house as well. It’s far east for a west central person, but it’s a nice place to visit from time to time.
This is a hidden gem on Tucson's east side. The commercial kitchen behind the local Italian market facade cranks out specialty breads, pastries and pasta for some of Tucson's most popular restaurants. They have take n bake pizzas, pre-packaged heat and serve items like Eggplant & Chicken Parmesan, Lasagna, Ravioli and more. The dessert case is the eighth wonder of the world. They make their own gelato!Gelato!! They serve lunch primarily but do have a Friday night dinner service from 4 to 8 p.m..Make sure you call them 1st before you come on down, seating is limited.
I came to just look at what they had and left with so many great items. I just bought some cookies and already had 3. The bread is what I really went to look at, so I'm excited to try the loaf I bought along with the eggplant caponata they also make in-house. I can't wait to go back.
