Apple Annie's Bakery is worth visiting just for the smells alone. We found lots of old favorites, and Jess helped us discover some new ones. We enjoyed browsing the bakery and all the treats we brought home.

Apple Annie’s Bake Shop did an absolutely amazing job for our wedding! From the very beginning, I knew I wanted them to make our wedding cake and provide desserts for our special day, and they exceeded every expectation we had. They truly understood our vision and brought our dream cake to life perfectly. The cake was not only stunning visually, but tasted incredible as well — exactly what we had hoped for and more. They also provided a variety of finger desserts that our guests absolutely loved! Everything was beautifully displayed, delicious, and added such a special touch to our reception. We received so many compliments throughout the night about both the cake and desserts. One thing we especially appreciated was how reliable and professional they were throughout the entire process. Our cake was delivered right on time and set up perfectly, which gave us such peace of mind on such a busy day. We are so grateful to Apple Annie’s Bake Shop for helping make our wedding day so beautiful and memorable. If you are looking for a bakery that is talented, dependable, and truly cares about bringing your vision to life, we could not recommend them more.

My wife and I were on our way home from a short Anniversary trip. There was a gluten free bakery we wanted to stop by to see, but were unable to. Annie's carried some of their baked goods, which made my wife most happy as fresh made GF bakery products are hard to find, especially ones that taste good. Supermarket do not carry fresh products. My wife had a GF muffin and the Key Lime Pie, and I got a Cheese Danish and a Spinach Feta Croissant as the staff person recommended it (was her favorite). The baked goods were fantastic, and absolutely yummolicicious!!! Annie's staff bakes much of what they sell in the morning, and you could tell by the look and taste. The gentleman that made my wife's coffee did a wonderful job as well. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her coffee. The GF products were made by Gluten Free by the Sea, and were also extremely good. Although frozen, they again, tasted freshly made. The staff was friendly and helpful, and quick to take care of us. We had delightful treat while driving home. Thank you all.

So we wanted something sweet and this was a good spot to get something sweet from. We had a good talk with the owner and it was a great Christian atmosphere!!! If I’m ever back in the area I will for sure stop there.

Truly a hidden gem, and the owner and staff couldn't be nicer. Ask them for dad jokes too, they'll deliver.

Absolute perfection. In addition to getting a dozen of their sweet croissants, we order grits with cheese and country sausage and a sausage/egg/cheese croissant. Easily some of the best grits I have had here in Wilmington. So much so, my wife who does not like grits wanted to order herself a side. Incredibly sweet folks that run the restaurant. I know there are a few other places in town that do the cronuts.this place wins for best, in my books.

We went in today and the two girls working the counter were so sweet. They whipped up our order very quick and they even helped us with menu options. As you can see they do not skimp on the icing which they have a bunch of types of. Very very indulgent and yummy. Would definitely recommend stopping in.

Hands down the best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had!! I can’t wait to come back and try more.

If you love cinnamon buns—this place is a must! I had the bananas foster, which was phenomenal, and my friend had the Biscoff —I took a picture of the two (one topped with strawberries), as they are seasonal. So get them while you can. I highly recommend having lunch & heading over here for dessert. I sampled a bit of my friend’s Biscoff and oh my goodness! I wish they had at least one table inside, in the corner—it would be nice as it is sometimes too hot to eat outside & they only had one table right outside. Please add more seating because these treats are delish! You’ll get more business for sure! Enjoy y’all.
