Tom Jenkins Bar-B-Q was organized by two friends, Harry Harrell and Gary Torrence. Both men's enthusiasm for cooking started to the nature of Tom Jenkins BBQ sauce, in 1990, Tom's sauce was introduced to the public via a roadside cooking trailer, and the weekend trailer process lasted seven years which ended in them building a loyal customer base. "Georgia Pig Barbeque" has been a South Florida staple for above 60 years. Linton and Frances Anderson went to South Florida in the early 1950s from Jesup, Georgia, beginning with them family methods, what started as a beef market quickly became a BBQ eatery. Their first day of trading was on Friday the 13th, 1953 the doors started with few workers and a rush of clients eager to try some new BBQ. The original pitmaster and originator Linton passed away in the 1970s, Frances Anderson and her son Wayne Anderson took up the challenge of working the Pig after his passing. Frances was a staple for many clients and workers and became the warm greetings each person sought at every visit to the Pig. In 2014 Wayne and JoAnn sold the eatery to the Moorman family; Luke Moorman and his family now operate the Georgia Pig. The Moorman family and team create to make their thoughts with generations of clients. If you are want to keep any events, their team caters your occasional genuinely.
