BBQ PETE'S REVIEWS

The food was great, the mac n cheese was creamy and delicious. The coleslaw was yummy. The cornbread muffin with the butter given was great. I truly would come back. Delicious and tender brisket . And to top it all, you get free soft serve ice cream.

Award Winning BBQ! Awesome food, friendly people and good atmosphere. Not to forget the complementary icecream !

The "no name" sandwich was amazing. The loaded baked beans and mac n cheese are full of flavor and big portions.

CEDAR RIVER SMOKEHOUSE REVIEWS

My husband and I happened on Cedar River BBQ one day when we were doing day traveling away from Seattle. I have to say, this place had the best BBQ I have ever had. We had the Cedar River Platter that had a little bit of everything, brisket, ribs, chicken and two sides. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the sauces were outstanding. I was blown away and so happy we decided to try it. I lived in the South for over 30 years where BBQ is king but I never had anything as good as this. Even the coleslaw was good and I am not especially fond of coleslaw. My only suggestion would be to add some smoked sweet potatoes/yams to the menu that would really round out the meal nicely. If I lived nearby, I would be there often.

Food was amazing and service went above and beyond. We accidentally came in 15 minutes before closing because they hadn’t changed the sign but they still insisted on us eating for here even though we offered to take it to go. The food was amazing and just what I needed after a long week plus the woman who served us was extra sweet and kind!

Some of the best bbq I’ve ever had. The chicken was fall off the bone tender, great cornbread with crusty edges, and delicious pork sandwich. Highly recommend the hot honey wings!

Staff are very friendly and the food here is great. If you are a fan of katsu, this place nails it. The BBQ chicken was very good, as was the beef. I ordered the small family platter, and got an absolute mountain of food! Thanks guys, the whole family loved it.

Our favorite Hawaiian place in Kent. We come here pretty often and the food is always great. Easy for takeout orders.

I love rice and sriracha. Some cool deserts too. Broccoli a bit old but otherwise great food.
